Indeed I am a first time ROM hacker, and there will be many things that my computer won't like me doing. In this thread I will post things that I don't know how to get passed on my computer. A whole thread because I am projecting a lot of problems. First off is one of them when I try to open up the folders I have downloaded. I get this message.

Have you tried unzipping the folder?  Some computers have an unzipper built in, but if you can't unzip a folder by right clicking on it and choosing that option, you could go with 7-zip.  http://sourceforge.net/projects/sevenzip/files/7-Zip/9.20/7z920.exe/download?use_mirror=hivelocity

It's a free unzipping program.  If you have any problems with all of this, or if this isn't your problem, let me know.  I spend a lot of time on computers, but I don't know the ins and outs of them like some people do.  I can probably only give you a few tips.  But I'll try to help you the best way I can.
