I played almost exclusively offline for almost a year. About a year ago, I discovered how awesome servers can be. 

So, now I play online basically always. If I'm trying to create an adventure map or a unique creation, I'll do it offline.

I play online more. I used to play entirely offline because i didn't like how servers sounded. But when i did play on a server for the first time, i loved it and so i play on servers a lot today.

I do still play offline, just nowhere near as much as i used to.

I haven't really ever played online, lol. I think I tried a couple times, but I'm not skilled enough to do well against other players. If I was better (i.e. played often), I'd play online a lot more. I really never play online though, nor does anyone who uses my account.

I play online for me the servers are groovy. I also have found that games play better when I am online. Sometimes it is also fun to play online and be on facebook too, yeah I know that sounds crazy but I like it

I voted for Offline because on the online mode(Xbox 360) everyone wants your head on a silver platter for some reason, unless it is your friends. But on the offline mode, you can do what you want and you don't need to please anyone but yourself.

I play offline. I like to use creative mode and build things in peace. I don't need any greifers blowing up my sky city! The only games I do play online are shooters, they always seem to be better with more people for some reason.

Even though I bought the PC version, I only use offline because I don't like playing with other people in Minecraft, it just does not seem good because of people griefing your stuff.

Well first I was offline but then I went looking for a server. Didn't find one I liked, but after I'd given up I finally spotted an advertisement for one. It was the best experience ever and I pleased the server owner with everything I did on there. Then stuff happened - a long story, and it's actually about me being parted from the server rather than the server dying, which it never permanently did; I won't tell that story, because of how long and confusing it is - and I went back to Singleplayer.

I've been trying to work with an adventure map but it got corrupted or something... And I've been playing on Mineplex, but it's not nearly as fun as that other server was. I don't play that much Survival Singleplayer anymore because certain things trouble me.

 

I seem fifty-fifty here, but Multiplayer is probably what I'm gonna be stuck with since my Adventure Map got screwed.

I play both a lot, but i seem to play offline a lot more. By offline, i mean i usually play solo. When I play on the Xbox it is always online so I can talk to my friends. When playing on the computer it is usually online too, but only because that's the default. I am still trying to figure out everything with the computer version and just started using mods so I don't want people to play the game and then have me have to redo the maps they worked on over and over again.

Actually online sometimes makes the game a little too easy in terms of surviving and creating. I can see how that might take the fun out of it.

Plus, pretending to be Robinson Crusoe is always awesome.

I almost always play offline, because I have trust issues with my friends, who have griefed me about 15 times on 10 separate worlds (they keep count) and I eventually stopped letting them join. Plus, offline mode lets you actually pause the whole game, so I don't get killed when I need to go to the toilet.
