I don't know why I wrote this thread suddenly. Even I myself are not wearing any spectacles till now except sunglasses.
But, I think I know why now... I've seen a lot of youngsters even kids are wearing it nowadays. If it is about the old folk's, everyone understand.
And if it is because someone have to for real purposes (eye issues, diseases...) Well that's common.
 
I found it was a little bit annoying if there are people who wear it for wacky purpose to be seemed cool and show off. Burff~

I wore glasses thru the sixth grade before I got "upgraded" to some contacts.  As for the prescription on the it is a -7.25 and a -6.75 depending on which eye.  If you know anything about that it means I'm blind as a bat.  To see the computer screen w/o my lenses in I would have to keep my face directly next to the screen.

I started to wear glasses about 3 years ago. I have myopia, or nearsighted. My glasses are a -5, which means I can't see, well anything. Without my glasses anything after 5 inches of my face becomes blurry. I have always had "bad" eyesight, but only recently have I gotten actual glasses to help me see better. Even if the lenses are huge.

I have to wear glasses, although I don't wear them too often. They get uncomfortable after a while. I'm nearsighted, so I wear them when I watch TV or go to an event like a concert of something. I've had to wear glasses for about ten years now.

As for the strength...? I really don't know. There are some numbers on the inside of the bridge (I don't remember what they are), but I don't know what they mean.

I wear glasses all the time.  I can't even see the TV without them.  If I don't wear them things are all blurry.  My brother and I both were born with bad eye sight.  We both have had glasses since we were in first grade.

Before I started sixth grade, I actually had 20/10 vision, but no one would ever believe it after I got glasses. My eyesight slowly deteriorated as I continued to play games while in close proximity to television screens and handheld console screens while I was younger and now I'm nearsighted. I honestly wish that I had listened to my parents when they said to back up from the screen when I was playing games, but hey, nothing I can do about it now.
