I could certainly use an upgrade to my VANISHING ACT ability. Hmmm... I thought I had less of a hit chance than that....

The Shadow Cross. A strengthened (by a substantial amount) version of the Dark Cross*. In light of the pulse of darkness surrounding the EX Skill of the Dark Cross, the Shadow Cross will deal fire damage.

Here we are in Downtown. You can do whatever you want, so long as you return in an hour or so. Remember...DO NOT FIGHT BASS!

All: OK!!!!

Good. Now I'm going to go ahead and prepare the Main Room for your arrival. I'll meet you guys there.

Narrator: Ok so the narrator isn't an actual character. The narrator simply gives you options as to what you want to do. So you can't talk to the narrator, but you can choose from one of the options the narrator provides.

You can choose to do one of the following.

- You can return to the Training Room and battle Guts Man again
- You can go down the street and go to the Weapons Store
- You can go across the street and go to the Bank
- You can go to the Main Room and await further instructions
- You can go around the block and visit the elemental Training Facility

The choice is yours.

Note: You guys can split up if you so choose. You don't have to go with everyone else and until you all reunite again, each player or group of players will have their own story to follow.

I shall go see what this WEAPONS STORE has. I might find something I could use.

Surgiac : I agree, but maybe we have a savings account we can leech from.

   I think I will go to the elemental training facility and get some training.

You both have decided to go to the Elemental Training Facility. You depart from the other three and make your way around the block to the Elemental Training Facility. When you get close to the door, you notice something mysterious by looking out the corner of your eye. "Could it be Bass?" you wonder, as you stop walking and think about what you should do.

You can do one of the following:

- You can run inside the Elemental Training Facility as fast as you can
- You can stand there and wait to see who the mysterious figure is
- You can charge towards the mysterious figure and try to initiate a fight
- You can return to the location that you separated from your friends
- You can call out for help

You three have decided to go to the Weapons Store. You depart from the other two and make your way down the street to the Weapons Store. When you get close to the door, you notice something mysterious by looking out the corner of your eye. "Could it be Bass?" you wonder, as you stop walking and think about what you should do.

- You can run inside the Weapons Store as fast as you can
- You can stand there and wait to see who the mysterious figure is
- You can charge towards the mysterious figure and try to initiate a fight

I want to wait and see who the mysterious figure is because it could just be an animal or something.

I shall hide in the shadows & wait for this mysterious figure to appear.

"I'm no coward but I'm not stupid either. I'll stand my ground and wait for the figure to approach me. If it wants a fight it'll get a fight"

megamanmaniac : I'll just wait. If I don't make a scene, whoever it is is bound not to notice.

i'll stand my ground and see who it is, if it's bass, then I can do a stealthy escape.

You both have decided to stand there and wait. The mysterious creature reaches you and you suddenly realize who it is. It's just the Elemental Training Facility manager, Talmas, with his little girl Payka. Good thing you didn't try to attack them.

Talmas: "Oh. You must be the new recruits. You are the ones who will save this world from the evil of Dr. Wily! How splendid. Do come in."

Exit Downtown

Enter Elemental Training Facility

Talmas unlocks the door and turns on the lights. You both wall in and see the four elements decorating each wall.

Talmas: "Let me just get everything ready."

Talmas walks into the back room and you can hear a generator starting. Talmas walks back out and flicks a switch that makes the sign above the door leading to the back room change from red to green.

Talmas: "Ok. So what would you two like to do? Once you choose, my sweet little Payka will take you into the back room where your elemental abilities will be upgraded or you can learn a new skill if you would like. How advanced technology has gotten eh?"

You can do one of the following:
- You can ask what is in the back room
- You can ask to upgrade one of the abilities that you already have
- You can ask to learn a new elemental ability
- You can ask who Talmas and Payka are
- You can leave the Elemental Training Facility

You all have decided to stand there and wait. The mysterious figure reaches you and you suddenly realize who it is. It's just an innocent pedestrian walking his robo dog. How nice. The pedestrian sees you and waves hi. Naturally, you all wave hi back.

Now that the pedestrian is gone, you all head inside.

Exit Downtown

Enter Weapons Store

You enter the store and see a big muscular man polishing a shiny saber. He looks at you three and continues to polish his saber.

??? : "What do you want?"

You can do one of the following:
- You can ask the man who he is
- You can ask him if he can upgrade your weapon
- You can try and steal the saber he has in his hand
- You can leave the Weapons Store

megamanmaniac : question him about the potential of my weapon.

"I came here for one reason and one reason only to get stronger. Light should know I work my own way when he hired me. Oh how nice would it be to steal that Saber...let's put my ghost skills to the test he he..."

I shall ask him who he is. I must determine if he is an enemy or not before I will let him touch my weapon.
