Okay, so I posted a song about a week ago, and said that it wasn't my usual style. That made me think that maybe I should try sharing another song of mine, only this time, making it a song that fit my typical style more. So with that idea, along with

suggesting that I share a song that I shared with her, with you guys (I decided not to share that one though, since it was a piece of my heart, and one that I'm not comfortable putting out in public), I decided that I would go ahead and share another. This time I chose one that reflected my personal style better, and actually was a piece of how I feel (or rather, felt while writing it).

Be aware that contrary to my bubbly and overly perky nature, this song is an expression of deep seated pain and sorrow, as are most of my songs.

The meaning: This is an expression of the pain that one feels when they realize that someone or something that they've lost is actually gone. It's a realization that their worst fear has come true, and that the one(s) that they turn to is/are nowhere to be found, and that no one knows how they feel. If you picked up any pent up frustration amidst the pain and sadness, that's what it was about, you perceptive little slueth.

Dang man, that's a totally awesome song!!!! Do you have any ideas for a musical soundtrack to this? Cuz that would be really awesome!

I thought that the song was about realising that you had no chance anymore of forming a relationship with a girl that you like because you hardly ever get to see her.

And then she goes off and get's another boyfriend because she hasn't seen you in three years.

mrfe : Thanks, man! And actually I do. Unfortunately I have none of my instruments handy except my acoustic guitar, and no one to play it with. Still, I have it in mind at least. lol

Sword legion : Thank you for sharing that with me. It's really good to see that it had a meaning to someone else as well. Makes me feel like I did something right, if it speaks to someone.
