I see football,hockey and more football threads. But I don't see anyone discussing baseball. I really don't see why not many people enjoy it. Unless all people want in sports is a bunch of violence and random fights. I like it because it's a game that not just shooting and scoring (it's weird because Soccer is still my favourites sport). Anyone here at all a fan of baseball and if so what team do you root for?

I'm a Blue Jays fan and I only know a few other people who are. Baseball isn't really big in Canada :p

BASEBALL IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! On the Blue Jays I like a bunch of people. I like Reyes, love Dickey, like Burhlehe, loved Halladay, and I like Edwin. My favorite teams though are the Mets, Red Sox, Cardinals, and Giants. And then the Tigers. My favorite players are Matt Harvey, Noah Syndergaard, Zack Wheeler, Jose Fernandez, R.A. Dickey!!!!!!!

Yes I love watching baseball.. I don't really have a favorite team though.. I can spend hours watching games of baseball and still not decide which team I like the most.. it's entertainment for me but it's kind of hard when I see so many great teams out there. I can't just pick between if this one loses and that one wins.. it wouldn't be fair.. but your not the only one out there that loves baseball

I love baseball and it's fun.  It's also after the post-season and pitchers and catchers haven't reported yet to Spring Training, so there's nothing to talk about.  NCAA football, NFL, NHL, and NBA, as well as college men's hoops are in full swing and there's more to discuss.  Also, baseball is less popular then football in the United States, probably around most countries represented here.  And I mean both American Football and footy, Euro football, whatever you want to call it, soccer.... it's all the same by name.

Baseball has its place and I'll talk about it all day if you like.

What are your thoughts on bunting?  Is it a ruin to waste an out to advance a man to second even if the odds are better to hit away and let him run?

Hi, I am a huge baseball fan. It has always been my favorite sport. Pitchers trying to get batters out, batters trying to hit the ball. I just find it exciting. In America it is the 2nd most watched sport only behind football. 

My favorite baseball teams include: Colorado Rockies, Cincinnati Reds, Toronto Blue Jays, Giants and Cardinals are my top favorites. I also like the Mets, Mariners, Orioles and Houston. I also keep up with baseball stats.
