Hello everybody, NintendoFanKimmy here, and this time I bring you a thread about fevers. The idea of making this thread popped into my head just now due to me reading a book called FEVER 1793, and the fact that I am experiencing a slight one this moment. Anyway, what is the highest fever you have experienced? Once, when I was in second grade, I came home nearly falling asleep. Then, my mother took my temperature. It was 39.4 degrees Celsius. That was not the highest I have ever had, though. The highest I ever had was recently, in sixth grade. I was literally tearing, and I could't sleep at all. My mother noticed, and decided to take my temperature at four in the morning. Not to worry me, she told me it was 39.4 degrees, as I had experienced that before. When I got better, she told me what it really was: 40 degrees Celsius. I did not go to the hospital, as it had only lasted for one night. Anyway, what about you guys? NintendoFanKimmy, out!

NintendoFanKimmy : I'm sorry to hear about that, it must have been quite painful for you :o (104 degrees Fa ouch) anyway at least from what you said that probably hasn't happened in a while so I'm glad about that .  I've actually had a high fever many times but the worst has to have been when I was asked to stay at one of my friends house due to weather and surprisingly my temp was 106 degrees Fahrenheit (I was 14 at the time so about 8th grade). I was tearing up and sweating, begging for something to cool myself down which I used an ice pack and layed down for about 5 hours  afterwards my fever had gone down a bit to 99.8 and after an entire day I was back to the average 97.6 degree margin.

The highest fever I ever had was 104.6 which was dangerous. When I had it I had Myocarditis (Inflammation of the heart). Sometimes the condition can be fatal. I remember the nurses had to put wet wash clothes on my head to try to bring my fever down. I was really sick. Thankfully my personal Lord and Savior Jesus healed me and took care of me and yes He saved me. I think I was 16 or I may have been 17 when that occurred.

As far as I know, I don't have high fevers. A few years ago, I reached my highest temperature for a fever at  101 F.

Normally, my fevers are rarely three digits and I rarely get fevers in general. In fact, my last tested fever was in middle school and my last probable fever happened three years ago.

Only a few degrees either way can be fatal. I'm happy to see that these conditions were helped by medical technology.

I would say quite a few years ago the highest fever I had would of been about 102 or 104 F. Normally my fevers are never this high.. I never have a fever anymore and it usually stays 96 to 98F which is considered normal. I haven't had a fever in quite a while I don't guess. Sometimes I feel like I have a fever but I can't really tell and when somebody feels of my head I am told that it feels cold. Sometimes I don't understand how my body works but all I know is that I hope I never have such a high fever like that again.

It was the August of 2012. I was on a college tour in Florida and my temp went up to about 103. I still had a great time in Lego place and whatnot.

I don't get fevers all that often, but if I recall a few years ago I wasn't quite feeling well for a few days and I had a fever of like 102- 104 or something like that. Like I said I don't get fevers often, but of the few occasional ones I have had, they were never this high before, it has actually been a few years since i have had a fever, most of the time when I am sick, all I get is a runny nose, and nothing else.
