Awful. Personally, after watching a commercial about it, I just knew it'll just be stupid. I find it to be just another one of those shows that continue to ruin Cartoon Network. I mean, what's it about anyways? They make the main character act mentally retarded; I see no point in watching it whatsoever because I think there's absolutely no plot; is this what kids are into these days? Ugh....

Yeah I agree awful like all of the new shows Steven Universe, Sanjy and Craig they are all pitiful

I saw a few episodes and it's really funny, but it's just so stupid. It's like mixing South Park with Adventure Time.

I really think this cartoon make no sense....sure i find it funny because its stupid. But the plot of the episode is random and you have no idea what will happen in the end.

Honestly? You want to know my answer well I think it's dumb just like the rest of the new cartoon network shows they put on CN.. I don't think it has a plot what so ever just like half of the rest of the shows on there and I wish that Cartoon Network would incorporate a new tv show that was like the older tv shows that they used to play. I hate watching cartoon network if I am ever at a friend's house or family members house sense I don't have TV myself. I mean get real it's about time they start making better cartoons.

I'm surprised that it's still showing... To be honest I thought that it'd be gone by now because of how bad it is, I can't believe that people actually watch that suck-y excuse for a cartoon. CN really has lost it...

Weirdly I love Steven Universe but I absolutely hate Uncle Grandpa. If I took acid it might look close to what cartoon network considers a reasonably good show

Just going to throw it out there that not everyone even knows better than to watch something else, I'll use my neighbor for example, she's... 3? 4? She enjoys it. And honestly I feel like she's the perfect age for the show, I personally don't care much for it nor do I even think it should really be on Television, but there are two sides to every argument, all I've really seen in this thread is a bunch of people dissing something simply because they don't like it. Honestly, it's nothing special, I don't like it but it's not that awful, I feel like everyone here is simply picking the show apart and not looking at any of the positive sides to it.

Anyway, only real reason I posted here was to let you know that this thread is going to be moved to the Cartoon forum where it belongs even though it's not exactly against the rules to be here either.

Even though I have never actually seen it before, I have caught it in bits and pieces and from commercials, and honestly I jut think it looks weird and silly. Younger audiences like it though, as Frodlex pointed out and I have no problem with it, I have not really seen enough of it to judge it, but I just don't think it would be something I would actually watch. Then again i don't really watch tv in general all that much anymore to begin with. 

If you want my honest opinion though, there are a lot of dumb shows on cartoon network that make this look like a blu ray high def movie, mainly because most cartoons are down the toilet these days. The only one I actually like is regular show. 

I think that it is a weird show that can be funny, but can also not be very funny. I think that it is a really stupid show, that i watch if it is the only thing on.

I think Uncle Grandpa is highly insulting to younger kids intelligence, I mean really you should demand better quality cartoons with actual character depth and decent story lines/plots as well as half way thought out dialog. The show has no plot whatsoever, the characters in the show are as unimaginative as it gets, the characters actions/adventures have no real purpose or reasoning behind what they do. I suppose the show was made to be comical but I don't find it funny at all. The animation style is poor, and the show really reflects just how far Cartoon Network has fallen since it decided to drop its main cartoon maker Havanna  Barbara and got a new C.E.O. Quite frankly the show is just another short term fail that probably won't get it's contract renewed since its ratings are down and the shows block keeps getting pushed on later and later. Overall I hate the show for the reasons above and I really hope they drop the show because it really is terrible.

I am just going to wrap up what everyone else is saying... It will be terrible. I have seen the commercial and it's just like, why? Cartoon Network was once amazing in my childhood, but now look at it.

I don't like those kind of cartoons. I have never watched it but I am too old for that kind of stuff man. I do have to give the show respect though, would you like to know why? In one of the adds (which I saw waiting for king of the hill to be on) showed Uncle Grandpa dressed up as GG Allin, Bald head, fu manchu (missing beard though), dog collar with the lock, and in nothing but underwear (GG wore panties but close enough).

Well I can respect everyone's opinion, since it's their right to have one, but I can't help but feel that most replies here (with exception of like...two) are being unfair in their comments. I talked bad about the show when they were showing commercials for it, but once I was pretty much forced to watch an episode of it, I found out that it isn't that bad. It could be that those who judged it by the commercials could enjoy it better than they might think, much like I did.

Do I like it? Yeah, I think it's okay. It isn't a masterpiece, and I wouldn't say it's anything special, but it can be entertaining if you enjoy stupid humor, and quite honestly, I do. I mean, sometimes in a world that forces seriousness, violence, and stress on us all the time, it can be nice to just watch something stupid and pointless. I get all the drama I need from life without watching it on TV as well. lol So yeah, I don't like action, horror, or drama; I just want to laugh and smile. Life's more fun when you laugh and smile all the time.

Does the show have a plot? No. It isn't that kind of show.

Does it make sense? Not at all. That's the point: the writers don't want to make sense. That's the type of humor they're shooting for.

Does it have a point? Yes. It's point is to make you laugh at how stupid and ridiculous the writers are being. Have you ever been in a conversation where all you did was carry on some silly and ridiculous joke with a friend, tossing silly comments back and forth? I know I have (and with some of you at that. lol). That's exactly the same kind of stuff these writer's are doing.


Don't like it? That's cool. Calling it dumb, trash, and many of the other things that have been said here so far? Not so cool. I'm not trying to be a pain, just reminding everyone that not everyone likes or dislikes the same thing, and so it's good forum practice not to speak offensively about a game or movie. I know I've done it once or twice, but I try not to.

I'm personally not offended, but I figure some others that agree with me could easily be offended. And quite honestly, Cartoon Network has far worse shows on it. lol
