Much the same as the original Pokémon Emerald this version has 2 dragons for starter Pokémon which may sound fun but can be somewhat grueling to train. There isn't anything especially remarkable about this version other then that, the story, and Pokémon to be found are much the same. The only change I noticed was the Pokémon on the elite 4 and gym leaders (not their trainee counterparts) will have Pokémon many times the levels of which you will be training against in the wilds this will not be a problem for you of course being a Pokémon master and all but it will prove to be quite irritating even if you speed up the game. The gym leaders may have Pokémon that are the exact opposite of the types you expected to face for example you might be surprised to discover that instead of rock, ground type Pokémon for the first gym the leader Roxanne has two 15 - 20 Tentacruels.
