So just recently my best friend started dating this girl who I pretty much just find straight up annoying but that's notthe problem. I'm not selfish that I'd tell him to leave her because I don't like her but it's mainly the fact that they hooked up in 2 minutes over text messaging. I don't want to see him get hurt because frankly I don't think this relationship is gonna last. To be truthful I don't think he even likes the girl because he'd shown no interest in her till the day they started dating. He's also started leaving all his friends to hang out with her friends and he lied and told us it was because he was finishing a test. Maybe I'm exagerrating but do you think I should just be forward and tell him this or let it be?

Well, if you're best friends, then I would say that you should try expressing your concerns or feelings about it. I mean, obviously him lying about what he was doing when he ditched you guys to hang out with her friends had to sting. Maybe talk to him about it, and ask him why he did it. It could get your foot in the door for a real conversation on it, while letting him see that he shouldn't toss his real friends aside like that. Maybe these people are new friends of his, but you can never make new old friends, and those friendships are never worth trashing, especially not for a girl/guy.

Often times the question of do we tell and be blunt is difficult? My advice would be to tell him how you feel and be blunt about it, but keep reminding him your still his friend. Because if you keep your feelings bottled up that can be unhealthy.
