I mean those small pictures in the upper right corner (right now mine should be Butterfree). I know they can be edited in profile and settings, but is there actually any rhyme or reason of what they are. It seems to me that users with higher levels for example have "more powerful" pokemon" in them, and so on.

P.S. If there's already similar thread or link to explanation somewhere, could you mention about it. I didn't find any explanations about them in either layout guide, FAQs or terminology, but it may be that I just wasn't thorough enough in my search. If that's the case I'm willing to close this thread.

Do you mean the user levels, like the ones that appear after a post, they change depending on the amount of posts you have made, if you have a pokemon themed one, then the pokemon ranks will go something like this: You should already be a butterfree because only 20 posts is required to reach that level, so i really don't know what the problem is, here is a list of the ranks and the amount of posts needed to reach them:  https://www.vizzed.com/boards/ranks.php?set=4&showall=1https://www.vizzed.com/boards/ranks.php?set=4&showall=1

Thank you very much, that's pretty much exactly something I was looking for. Strictly speaking it wasn't a problem but rather a point of interest. It also seems like the power isn't actually determined by the strength of the Pokémon, but by the initial number.
I'm still not sure where any of this was mentioned though. I thought I read all the info thoroughly, but this site still seems to be full of mysteries that are slowly unveiling to me .

I actually tried to search for where I found the user ranks description being mentioned here, but I couldn't find anything. I guess when I was still a member, I just ended up inferring how the rankings work.

I think the Help Center hasn't been updated to include everything. Normally, you can find information about new features in the News and Updates forum.
