13 Year old shoots/kills cousin over Xbox

A child dies there everyday.

Why am I not surprised by this sort of stuff anymore? I guess the parents didn't raise him right. What were they doing letting him have an Xbox if the child was that bad in the first place? Children like that don't need violent games to feed them even more, but then again, I'm not rightly sure that the games caused him to do it, but I know that they can affect people in that way to a certain aspect.

I think that it's stupid having to kill your cousin or relative over an Xbox. If he takes the system, fine, just go do something else like going outside, reading a book or do any homework you have or study. What the parents should have done if they fought over this was to take the Xbox away from them so they don't fight over it.

Right now, video game addiction is messing up people's lives and it looks like it's causing kids to kill people so they can play their games. I think that the parents should have raised him much better that that.

For anybody blaming the Xbox for this, think about a child. They don't know it'll do much damage, he's a child.

The fact he was fighting over a video game is nowhere as bad as the fact that he had such easy access to a firearm.

The parents are in the wrong here, until a certain age, children are innocent, because they really don't know any better unless educated, and it isnt a normal thing to have a gun in the house around your children in the first place.

So maybe if the parents were a little more careful with gun storage, this wouldnt be an issue.

Kids also fight, as do older people. It's normal.

There also should have been more education to the child about the gun if it was to be left around like that.

Some psychiatric assessment of the boy would be nice too.
