The similarities between Blade Runner and Mega Man X:

Well, in Blade Runner there are people named Blade Runners and they hunt down and "retire" (essentially kill) Replicants, who are like a android but they are specially programmed to have human like characterisitics. Deckard, a Blade Runner, then falls in love with a replicant (Let the shipping ensue!) named Rachael.

However, in Mega Man X there are people named Maverick Hunters who hunts down Reploids, who are like a android but they have human like characteristics. Zero, a Maverick Hunter, then falls in love with a Reploid (I think) named Iris. Sounds familiar doesn't it?

This analysis is really rough, but it gives a good idea about the similarities between the two series.
