I wouldn't necessarily say I talk to myself, but I do talk to about what I should and shouldn't do or like how to approach a certain situation strategically. For example if I have an essay due at a certain time and date I map out the specific word count to myself, and the trajectory of what the paper should consist of, and how much I should and shouldn't include by the due date. With simple statements saying yea I should do that, or no that is not right this is a better way to do it, so maybe I should try it out that way.

i talk and argue with myself a lot my self conscience is a total uptite guy everytime i make a bad move he gives me a stearn talk and i'm kind of sick of him but he's kind of in my head i can't just make him go away,when people arn't around i talk out loud and somtimes even yell

Yeah, I monologue a lot. I was actually streaming today, and a person came in while I was talking on my stream about the game when nobody was watching, so I had to explain to them in chat that I was talking about the game for when I uploaded the stream to YouTube. XD 

Don't know if that counts or not, but yeah, I talk to myself a good bit.

Talking to one's self is actually healthy, it also allows you to know more about yourself and develop. (At least that's what I learned in our Psychology class) so yeah, I do talk to myself. xD As for the other users who were shy about it, I don't really think there's a reason to be shy.

I do a lot, but I'm pretty sure that's because of my Aspergers disability.

I talk to myself frequently, while I'm thinking, sleeping, eating, doing laundry, school. I also argue with myself. Sorry, I'm having... Problems thinking, I'm really hungry right now(Also tired).

Ok, I do have to admit that yes, sometimes, I do talk to myself most of the time, and most of them was pure randomness. I think it might be because I might be board, or it might just be because I feel like saying something, or it could be just out of nowhere.

People can be like that, others might think that person is crazy for talking to themselves, but we all do it.

Of course I only do it when no one else is around or when I know that no one will hear me, but I talk to myself a lot. I usually do it when I'm frustrated, sad, or I'm trying really hard to be able to remember something. Talking to myself makes things easier to remember than saying it in my head repeatedly.

There's nothing to be ashamed of, brain. It's okay to talk to yourself as long as you don't reply to questions you ask yourself.

Yes, I talk to myself out loud sometimes when I'm alone and just want to fill up the silence. Half the time, I'm just sorting out my priorities. XD

I'd rather say I'm thinking outloud than actually talking to myself. When I'm alone/when I get bored, I love to remember funny lines from my favorite comedians so I can laugh a little.

But I do admit talking to myself a little, say when there's an imminent hazard (slippery roads) or something unusual (someone wearing a winter coat when it's over 10 Celsius).

I think that it would definitely be weird if you didn't talk to yourself . Personally, i enjoy spending time pretending that i'm a world-class opera singer at home by myself. That is, until i discover that someone is actually at home and listening to my beautiful voice .

Yeah I'd have to put myself in the guilty category for this one because I do talk to myself quite often when I am upset or stressing over something really bad. Other than those two times I don't do it at all. I get bad enough that, like you guys who said this earlier, I tend to argue or carry on full conversations with myself. And why not ? I mean who else knows you better than yourself and is of the same opinion as you ? Arguments end pretty quickly unlike a solid argument with a spouse or child because they will prolong it by pushing all the right buttons and keeping you wound up. Also just a point of interest I have noticed a lot of people tend to talk to themselves mostly when they are upset, stressing or sad. Don't see too many people happy and walking along talking to themselves. That is in my experience anyways. Nice topic. Pz out till next time. :O)

The only time that I have ever actually talked to myself is when I'm bowling. I've been bowling for about 24 years or so now ( practically my whole life ) and talk to myself whenever I do something wrong that is basic. Like, sometimes I forget to follow through with my shot, something that you get taught when you're like 5 years old XD And sometimes if I'm bowling league and someone sees me talking to myself, they'll tell me I'm doing it. I'll throw a bad shot and they'll say "You're talking to yourself, huh?" And I'll say "I guess I am. I really don't mean to." And I really don't mean to.

Also, I guess I suppose that singing in the car with nobody in it but me qualifies as talking to myself. I find that people who talk to themselves all the time seem a little weird to me...
