I think this is a Buffalo Nickle but I think I may be wrong. I was on my way home from the library about two hours ago and Burger King gave it to me as change. It says five cents, there is no year on it, there is an indians head on the front and a Buffalo on the back. Is that what I think it is and how valuable are they?

A user of this : I actually just did some research and some website told me that a Buffalo nickel is worth jut 4.5 cents, I hope that's the value for what it's made of and not the value as a collectible.

That reminds me of when someone made a lot of 20p coins without a date on it. They were bribing for them out of embarrassment for 10X the regular 20p price.

Good luck selling this, there are not too many coin collecters and I am not sure how this would pay off in an antique shop. Just avoid ebay is my advice.

Yes, they really aren't anything special. They are just a nickle that really have nothing else to them. If you want to get more from it, try to get your friends to buy it for 10 or 15 cents. You get small profit.

If the nickel had a date on it, it would go on Ebay for as much as 200 dollars. Unfortunatly, the date had faded away, so it's only worth 15 cents. I did found out that there is an item that can be used to get the date back.
