My question to you gys is, how long does it take you while playing a game to get in the zone? I think you all know what it's means, because it I'd hard to explain . This is the point where you are thinking you are unstoppable and you can beat the game fast without any fail. See, hard to explain.
For me, it normally takes about 20-30 minutes of hard play to get to that level of play. And when I am in the zone, nothing can stop me.
Mods, sorry if this is in the wrong forum, there are just so many options to place it.

For me, it's a lot longer than 20-30 minutes, take Pokemon for instance, I might get all the way to the third badge and then I will start over because I'm "In the zone" This happens a lot when I get very far into a game and sometimes it takes a couple of hours.

Well um ... it takes me like maybe 10 - 8 mins to get in the zone when playing games . My hands start sliding off the controller cuz I am sweating from them ... my feet start shaking a bit .. My eyes locked on the screen . And if you ask me a question I respond " What do you want ! "

It really depends on the game. Sometimes it just takes me 5-10 minutes, or a couple a minutes to an hour or so. let's say I am playing a platforming game, it takes me a couple of levels, while if I am playing a RPG game, it takes me a while since I need to level up or get spells or items to actually feel like I am unstoppable.

I've never been "in the zone" for a game. When "I'm in the zone" it's sports related or academically related. I've played bloons for hours on end, but never did I feel I was unstoppable. The opposite, really.

   I know I when I am completely officially intrigued into a video game when I do not bother to even take any breaks for multiple hours. As an example, Call of Duty: Ghosts is a video game I must be addicted to. I mean, whenever I receive the opportunity to play it, I shall definitely play it. Considering I shall be online Vizzed for twenty-four hours beginning in one hour, I shall not play tomorrow even though I have the opportunity to, considering school had been cancelled due to "severe weather." Anyways, I the next time I shall play may be Monday, after school of course. Haha!

It takes me a couple of minutes to get in the zone with my gameplay. If I am not motivated it even takes longer sometimes! I sometimes get so intrigued that it takes up all my time.. I end up getting in the zone most of the time anyways.

It's like playing about 5 hours of SMB3 and attempting a speedrun on it to beat it in 15 minnutes or less which I was pretty close to it to be honest on my Wii.

Or it takes about 2 years of practicing on Mario Kart Wii to set an American Record..
