Okay, so it wasn't the most awkward moment of my life, but it was rather uncomfortable. It's kind of funny now that I look back to it XD! You know how there are some games you feel awkward playing around your parents? Well, I wasn't really playing it, but I was watching my cousin, greenluigi, play his file in the living room, and I was giving him hints and tips and all that. In fact, the game wasn't even awkward at all! You know how there are some games you're totally fine with your parents watching you play (I'm 12 so don't expect much), but there is something wrong with only ONE scene, character, or running gag? Well, green was playing his file on The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. My parents never, EVER saw me play it, even though I wanted them to so they could see how awesome it is. My cousin and I were right at the cut scene where you meet Ghirahim and... my dad walked into the room. XD. This really wasn't the right time...

My parents have seen that too, and I think they didn't think anything wrong or something like that. Just that he's a character who was designed to be kind of creepy and a villain with not so normal behavior. Haha. They didn't say anything about it, though.

Well, my parents like Zelda games somehow; my dad told me several times that he also played TLoZ when he was younger. Even though he thought that A Link to the Past was the first Zelda game for a long time, until I told him that it's not. And my mom tends to compare many top-down RPGs with LoZ, also when they're not very similar.

Yeah, but if you want to experience a really awkward moment, watching movies with your parents might be the easiest way. I had several of these moments.

But everyone's parents are different. Don't think much about situations like that. ^^

Oh WOW . Well I don't know what the character you mentioned looked like but I saw the discription in the second post .... I guess it was quite awkward :3 .... when ever my mom sees me play COD Ghosts she say " What's that mark on your screen ? " .. me " It's bloood from when I get shot mom " ... mom " You get shot ? " ... lil bro " Yes mom its COD ... "  mom " .. I don't like it . " 

my mom used to be really tight with what i played, just 4 years ago i was playing avatar the last airbender: burning earth when this guy mentioned the word stupid for the only singular time in the WHOLE GAME. "are you stupid? I said 2 bags of gold!"

I just watched the video where Link meets Ghiriham (or whoever) for the first time.

I didn't see anything that was awkward or unusual.  It was a character talking to another.  And everyone always plots, so that wasn't strange.

What was the big deal?

I used to be very paranoid about my mom or parents watching me playing games in general. Not because something was wrong with them but it was just always awkward.. I guess sometimes I like my privacy sense I rarely get any. Honesty though I'm 18 and I still go threw the same feelings as you are going through.

My dad almost saw me watching hamtaro: Little hamsters, big adventures.

My dad commented on how stupid it was to only play 6 notes in ocarina of time to play a song.

My dad caught me playing pokemon, Which he really thinks is stupid and comments very... Obscene on.

My mom caught me playing Tony hawks underground 2, right when Paulie says a curse word, and it was NOT censored.... VERY uncomfortable.

There was plenty more, But I wouldn't want to put em all here. After all, What would come of my chatroom stories? Hehehe.

Anyways, that sounds really awkward, I hate awkwardness. it makes me uncomfortable. Like an awkward pause in a conversation.

haha it must have been uncomfortable for you, even though I never played the game before. To me, it may or may not be uncomfortable, and it probably won't be a big deal to me at all. I enjoy my privacy too much for my family to see me, but I don't mind them seeing me play a game.

I would not consider this moment to be "awkward" considering this is just a video games. I mean, does not everybody know how creepy a video game may be?

I get that Ghirahim is a really awkward and odd person, but you shouldn't really have been embarrassed that your father walked in right when you were at the scene where he was being introduced. I guess it could still be a little awkward.

That's not as awkward compared to playing certain quests in Skyrim around your parents, say for example the Molag Bal quest. I know now to only play certain parts around my parents.

Well..I guess unless your dad has a problem with creepy villains and stuff......then..it's not really that awkward....
