I have been playing LoZ The Minish Cap (Gameboy Advance).  I am about half way through and I got to a point where Vizzed keeps crashing.  It does it at the exact same point in the game.

It actually happened at another point in the game (trying to enter a door in the town) and it happened about ten times (it never didn't crash).  But when that happened, I watched a walkthrough of the game to see what was behind the door and it was nothing important.

But now I am in the third dungeon and I have to go through this door to progress.  And every time I try it, it crashes and the screen turns black and tells me to reload the page.  Then I reload and the same thing happens at the exact same point.

I have turned off my computer and turned it back on.  I have uninstalled then re-installed the plug-in.  I have tried it on Internet Explorer, Firefox and Google Chrome.

Has anyone else had this issue with this (or any other) game and were you able to fix it?  Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am very far into the game and would like to complete it.

Thanks!

It looks as though the rom file is some how corrupted, I can not really help you with that however if you post this problem in this thread... (embedded links never seem to work for me)

... and you should get the rom fixed.

Is this happening on just that game or is the issue making appearances on other games. If that is the case you could have some sort of virus. My grandparents had a computer which had a virus that made things crash all of the time. When I was on the RGR all of games crashed and so did some of the pages of that and various other sites. I am not saying you have a virus but it is a possibility if this issue is happening else where.

MechaMento,

Thanks for the feedback.  I have played several games on Vizzed and this is the only one that has ever done this.

And in the chat box next to the game screen, there are several other people saying they are having the same issue.  So that is good.

While I have your attention, could you help me with something else.  I would like to send my saved game file to another computer (either on a flash drive or by e-mail).  I'd like to do that to see what happens if I try it on another comp.  It would take too long to start the game over on that comp as it took me days to get to the place where it crashes,

So is there any way for me to move my saved game to another computer?

Or should I ask this in a separate thread?

Thanks!

jimbrown257 : This isn't only your problem, it's just the game. The only thing I can suggest is using MedNafen, the games graphics will be rawer, you can't speed up or save with F2 and you have to start all over again, but at least you can play the whole game. I did this, and it worked for me.
