        Hello, guys, NintendoFanKimmy, here. The title about sums it up. So, basically, I have a swollen uvula. That's the little fleshy thing that hangs at the back of the throat. It is very annoying. I just woke up about half an hour ago and swallowed. I felt my tongue touch something. This was starting to happen every time I swallowed, and I thought it might have been mucus or something (I do have a cold, after all), but I looked in the mirror, and it wasn't. IT WAS MY OWN UVULA. It's huge! I don't know what happened, to be honest. I just woke up to it... I'm struggling eating my cereal, and, frankly, it's even difficult to breath, as my nose is blocked from that cold I also happen to have. Has this happened to you guys before? If so, or if not, please tell me what you know about fixing it, because it's really starting to scare me .

It might be better to do what Popeye116 says and visit a doctor to be on the safe side. I mean, I'd rather you visit one professionals than to ask a whole bunch of people who are not experienced about medical inquiries on what to do. I hope it's nothing serious.

You should probably go see a doctor! I wouldn't want you to ask tons of people on here and get different responses try one and get sicker. It's better to have professional help than anything don't forget that!

Of course, going to the doctor is always the best choice. It's possible your cold became tonsillitis or it may not be a cold, and it may be strep throat. There is a MUCH worse possibility, but it may be a minor allergy, also. The only one who can truly tell is your doctor.
