So, I'm doing this. You'll be playing Fire Emblem: Blazing Sword. Questions should be posted in this thread, or PM'd to me.

1. You must record your speed run using Mednafen. Upload to youtube (Vizzed youtube channel works too), and post here with the video link (this will give you Viz and CP). If you can't complete it in one sitting, create 2 videos and follow the same steps for both as if you were doing one. I'll be reviewing times carefully, so you MUST continue from the SAME file you started on before. You may restart chapters, if you choose, but realize that this will still add to your overall time. F2/F4 is NOT allowed, as this would allow for simply repeating and repeating the same thing until you get the best possible time. This is an INSTANT DQ!!!!!!! After you complete the final chapter, when you go to save, I will take that time. There will be a really long character bio thing afterwards, but I'm not going to count that as your time.

2. Use of spacebar to SPEED up gameplay IS allowed. Remember, though, that everyone else will be using the spacebar as well or better than you, so let that be motivation. I'm allowing spacebar because it's too much work to attempt to watch every video, all the way through, to decipher whether or not spacebar was used.

3. I won't be participating. As I'm giving out the prizes, It wouldn't be fair of me to play. Especially since this is my fav game series.

4. 10,000 Viz for first place, 5,000 for second place, and 2,500 for third place.

5. You do NOT have to achieve ANY sidequests. After much deliberation, I think that requiring sidequests will drive people away rather than draw them in. If you do decide to do sidequests, though, that's totally fine. List of sidequests: http://serenesforest.net/fe7/gaiden.htm You will use the list on the left, under Ch E. Consult that list as much as you need to.

6. Arena abuse is OKAY. However, realize that this is quite time consuming and may put you behind in the competition.

7. You may record as many videos as you want, with as many playthroughs as you want. However, only the LAST link you post here will be counted.

8. You MUST play through both Lyn and Eliwood's quests. Eliwood's is the shorter of the two paths after Lyn's story, so that will work in your favor anyway.

Do not expect this game to take just a couple hours. I'm playing through the game, and am on pace to play it for at least 6 hours if not more.
