I was bullied once...(which it only lasted for a few days)...the only thing that keep ticking me off..is that they just want to keep on bothering me....for no reason. It nearly got to the point i was just going to beat the living h*ll out of him!

I used to get bullied all the time. Then I  manned up and learned how to stop it. They used to talk all sorts of crap and once in awhile even try to push me over. One day I just got fed up and gave them a very.... strongly worded warning. Basically I told them if they like to keep there blood in their bodies don't ever look I my direction again. I had to teach myself  two things, one of which you probably won't  get out of a teacher/principle. 1) You can't let words hurt you. I know that sounds unoriginal, but it's true. 2) If you don't take charge of the situation they will. One of the worst things I did  was ignore them. In my case that didn't stop them, it actually made them try harder to mess with me.

So in short I don't like it when bullies try to tell you who you are or why you are "worthless". I don't let words or peoples mean hearted opinions hurt me any more.  I am mentally on a higher level then the childish people who see a use in bullying others, and I know that. Therefore I have rendered myself invincible to them.

(I am not telling anyone to start fights or cuss people out. I simply have stated what has worked for me in the past.)

I never had any problems with bullies. Granted, I stopped going to school in the second semester of 6th grade. I had a confrontation with a bully once, though. He picked on one of my friends who was a year below us and I stood up for him. I honestly don't remember much more than that. Nothing gets my blood boiling like people messing with the ones I care about

I'm still getting bullied. I even got beaten up on the streets. One time I got beaten by a gang of girls.
My arms are very weak so I started learning martial arts. My only way to win a fight is to use my powerful legs.
My bones are thicker than normal so when I got kicked in THE FACE his leg broke. Literally I broke his leg with my face and I might fell to the ground but I didn't get hurt and jumped back up without scratches. I bones never broke.

When I was bullied back in the school days, it didn't really matter what people said. They could pick on anything they could thing of and it would never really matter. You would always get picked on anyway.

What I remember is this tone of voice. When I still hear it, even if it is a small child or an actual adult it still makes me grind my teeth and fists. The words themselves might be "marry had a little lamb" but when you shout it out like in this tone, this intonation that only says "I do not care about you or anyone but I will mess you up just because I have no better to do, duh... and to show you and anyone that I can and I don't even really care..." Makes my skin crawl. Don't know if any of you younger or older bullying victims know what I mean?

Keronian_wolf : When I was in seventh grade I had a really hard time with bullying.  I was in the "gifted" class and there was one boy who loved to pick on me and who encourage most of the boys in my class to pick on me as well.  The worst part of it was that because we were the "gifted" class, I could not get away from my tormentors.  The worst thing for me was that they knew that there words were hurting me and they knew that I cried and they continued to do it anyway. 

But the one thing that really ticked me off was that the teachers did not notice or if they noticed they did not care.  In fact at least one of my teachers a couple of times made comments that almost had me burst out into tears and that caused everyone in the class to laugh at me.  Even though he later apologized, it could not take back the hurtful words or stop my humiliation.  The only teacher at the school that tried to help was my Wood shop teacher, who only saw me once or twice a week, not teachers that I had everyday.  After I broke down in his class, he had me stay after to talk to me and tried to help me out by getting me and the main tormentor to see a guidance counselor.  Unfortunately seeing the guidance counselor only helped for a little bit, before the boys were at it again.


The only things that made my life bearable that year were my two best friends.  They stuck  by me through everything and helped me to understand that there was nothing wrong with me. 

My advice to anyone being bullied is to find someone or something that you can hold onto and that makes you feel special.  Also if you have friends talk to them about it and they can really help you through the rough times.  If you see someone being bullied then go to the victim and try to help, do not walk by and empower the bully because then you are just as bad if not worse then they are.

Quhark : I liked your post because of  "Literally I broke his leg with my face". I just thought it sounded like he got what he deserved. The part about getting beaten up by a gang of girls sounds really humiliating though. 

Brigand : My "one thing" is similar. However, it's not necessarily the tone of voice but the smile that goes along with it. The smile of deriving pleasure from being cruel.

The next time that anyone who reads this witnesses bullying or is bullied be sure to notice the look of amusement on the bully's face. I'll never forget it, it's maddening...

thephantombrain : It was like boys came to beat me up then their girlfriends came like "Why did you hurt that kid? You don't punch people you knock them out." yes it is humiliating but life is hard. Now I trust nobody. And I also know ways to defend myself.

I hate how they bully people. By that I mean that I hate everything that they do. I hate them saying bad things about others, beating people up, and all of that kind of junk. It really gets on my nerves.

Well, other than my classmates saying mean things to me way back in grade 2, I don't get bully. However, I get ticked off when someone decides to hurt or taunt someone, especially if the one being taunted is a close friend of mine.

im not the kind of guy that gets ticked off easily. i dont think thats ever happened.
