Come on now, the Xbox One isn't all that bad. It may have the disc reading issue but they are fixing that and it is only for certain consoles. The PS4 and Xbox One are very close there are many pros and cons with both. 

Xbox One 

+ HALO 5
+ Xbox Live
+ Skype (with kinect)
+ Graphics
+ Watch TV
+ Controller
- The Kinect in General
- Disc reading issues
- Xbox Live costs a ton!
- The Music app is terrible

PS4

+ Cheaper
+ PSN is Cheap
+ Graphics
+ The control is a copy of the 360 controller but with a track pad thing
- PSN (there is not as much you can do)
- Music app
- Less communication methods
- NO HALO

The PS1 was amazing as was the PS2. I loved them to bits but along came the PS3 and things have change. That is when I move to microsoft I am staying there. 
Hey you got a NES anyway, who needs a PS4 or Xbox One when you have a NES or a SNES. They are great consoles and they were normal, unlike the Wii and Wii U.
