I'm not really sure what you're asking, because you do have a layout on when you make a post.

However, if you mean that you have a new layout and would like to change the one you have, then you would go to Edit Profile & Settings > Edit Layout and select 'Use' on the layout that you want to use.

If you mean that you can't see your layout when you make a new post, then you might of accidentally blocked it. Go to Edit Profile & Settings and scroll down to the Blocked Layouts section. Unblock yourself and you should see your layouts on posts.

I have created now two new lay outs. Two because when I did my first one and clicked "use" it wouldn't show up when I posted anything. So I created a new one again and same thing. I have my old original layout still. It doesn't work now either. Am I doing something wrong???

Problem Fixed. wow I feel dumb.
