Okay, as the thread says, are the hallways always crowded at your school? They are at mine, there are over 1,800 kids that go to school here and the hallways are always full, it is always a hassle to get to class on time because kids are flooding the hallways. it is sometimes hard to get to class in just 5 minutes, especially if you have to get upstairs. I hate the people that walk slow in front of you and they move side to side which makes it hard to pass them. and then I hate it when  person just walks right in front of you or they stop and hug or kiss their boyfriend/girlfriend and take up space in the hallway. That just gets on my nerves, the buses take off in 5 minutes so if you don't make it, you have to call your parents to come to school. 

But enough of my ranting, my school is just crowded and some people will do all they can to make it difficult for you to get to class on time. Is it like this at your school? What annoys you most about it being so overly crowded? Post here!

Back when I was in high school it was pretty much the same thing except for the boyfriend/girlfriend thing. Most couples tried their best to get the heck out of the way to their own little spot to chat and all that or stay close by the lockers but for the most part the hallways of my school was like New York City. Traffic left and right, slow moving, people cutting in and out. I was a fast paced walker so for the most part I was quickly out of the door before it got that bad. Being the nerd that I am I tried to keep perfect attendance and all that stuff. It was rough, especially when fights would break out. 

As stressful as that is honestly, I still kinda see that as a life value to some degree. Sometimes life is like that and you have to make the best of it and be patient when you can. Bu it is of course different for everyone. The best thought you can honestly have is as long as you put up with it long enough you'll be out of that place soon enough with a diploma and no more annoying crowds to put you on edge. 

I think the biggest thing that annoyed me is some days the enormous crowd would take their sweet time moving forward or at least when a fight broke out and everyone flipped out because they had to see whats up and plug up the hallway...but man..i'm glad I made it out alive. 

YES. My school is packed in between class changes. We have a LOT of kids, and not exactly a huge building, so we are all crammed in there. What seems to happen is that everyone is just stopped in the middle of the hallway for some unknown reason and you have to push your way through the mix. I spend about 3 minutes getting to my core classes (they are all pretty close to each other) but when going to my band and PE classes, it is devastating. I am talking about everyone on the edge to take out a klob and take out everyone in front of them. It really is a scary place to be during the day.

As someone who is in a relationship, it is kind of insulting to add that in That never happens. Like Zero said, we go off and find a quite place near our classes to be together. We NEVER just stop in the hallway as we have the risk of getting mowed over by people who are REALLY wanting to get to their class on time or they are just trying to get to someone to either talk to them, or fight them

Overall, the problem of small hallways, slow walkers, fights, and too many kids all lead to the problem of packed hallways and kids missing their classes by just a minute or two.

Yes I hate that it is like one time a kid was running to hurry up and then ran into my mouth because it was so crowded he needed to hurry up. Between class are contained because there are different halls but at the end of the day it is just a mess. People walking everywhere and there is only one way to win at the end of the day. Join the stampede and keep walking.

Yeah I guess that is true, but some couples will just fine each other and walk really slow through the hallways and kiss but I guess its not a big deal since they normally find a quiet spot. Its mostly just kids that hang out by the hallway and large groups of kids that all talk to each other. Fights happen, mostly during the morning or at lunch is when they break out and all of the apes in my school are chatting and they swarm around to see the fight like a hoard or gorillas. Its so barbaric and  see no reason to watch a fight. But yes a lot of things will mix to create a crammed, crowded hallway. I just don't like the people that walk very slowly in front of you, it seems like they are doing it on purpose. 

I'm still in elementary so my school is not that crowded.

Yea, my school is very crowded and annoying. The students are always just walking slow and taking up space, they would laugh for no reason and keep on talking, they move up the stairs slowly, it just annoys me. Can't they just move it and go to class already? and then at the end, the teacher says that I came late to class. Its also pretty annoying when there would be fat or tall kids just moving so slow or block the whole hall way. lol. My school is also pretty unorganized and messy with garbage on the floor. dang. 

I wouldn't go over the top crowded in my school, but there are a handful of people who "take their time" while going to their next class, and that jams up the hallway.

Yep! When I was still in school it was crowded! Very crowded though it wasn't as bad as alot of other schools I will say mine was hard to get around to my locker and get my books because somebody was standing in the way or wouldn't move.. it does get very annoying and I am somewhat happy that I don't have to deal with it anymore!!

Oh yeah..it would get horribly crowded in the hallway...that's why I leave class early. Well I sneak out of class. Its worth it.

Any big school is gonna have crowded hallways I just wish that moving to the next classes was just a bit more organized shoving is my last resort when it comes to heading to my next class.Theres always just a little whole I can squeeze into in the hallways though it would be nice if there was just a little more room in hallways.

Well, sometimes the hallways in my school are crowded, especially this one hallway that has the most classes there. It's pretty annoying but it's my fastest way to get to certain classes. But it's not too crowded though so it's not that bad.

In-between classes it's really crowded, but during lunch or break it's practically empty. Nearly everyone prefers to hang-out outside even when it's freezing cold rather than hang out in the hallways.

I'm in middle school so the hallways is always crowded. What worse is that my school is Middle School and High School..

Yes, they are very crowded at my school. It's really annoying, and I'm always being slammed into walls and lockers, dropping my books and all that. Also, it's so noisy !

Not always. If we get let out like at Lunch time or dismissal then yes. But if you get let out in the middle of class then no. If it IS crowded then I just use my tall stature to my advantage and walk towering over everyone infront of me. 

Only the seventh and eight grade hallways. They are an absolute nightmare. The highschoolers know how to walk, so they are not bad.

Razor-987 : No not really, but it can get very crowded especially while switching classes.. We are excused to use the bathroom or go to the library but not many people do it.. I hang out at the library a lot which can be crowded..

But there aren't much people walking in the hallway maybe about like 10 maybe and that's just it.
We sometime do a special event where we go outside and the hallway is jammed with students so it's pretty confusing or which way to get out.
