Welcome Welcome Welcome,To,Could you survive as,In this series you,The audience,Take the role as a Pokemon surviving in the wild,I look at all the tools you have to survive,And i add it all up to see your survival chance,Now today we are looking at one of my favorite Pokemon EVER,Hondour,Now for those who have read my recently discontinued Pokemon Reviews ( Thank you mods) You already know why i like this Pokemon,So i wont go into explanations,Now before we begin i would like to remind you guys about how my evolution system works,For those who don't remember,Basically you get a level,For each week you are alive,So as a Caterpie,You would need to survive for about 6 weeks,To become a Metapod,So as a Hondour,You need to survive for 23 weeks to become a Houndoom...that's kind of a long time,So without further ado lets jump right into the role of Houndoor.

Survival tools

1.You most likely will hunt in a pack,Now the Pokedex does specifically say "Pack" not a pride,So if you are a male,There is a good chance that you will be excepted in the Pack,Unlike a lion pride,Where there is usually only 1 male.
2.You are smart...yippy
3.You use barks and cry's to communicate with your fellow Pack members
4.You can shoot fire
5.You have a strong bond with your pack,And will never leave a sick or injured pack member behind.

Habitat

Your habitat is most likely going to be rough terrain,Think of it as grasslands,With a little less grass,Harder ground,And less trees,Nothing really special.


Food and Water

Now uh...you might be a bit...sad after i tell you this news,You are in rough terrain right...well i looked at all the Pokemon that dwell in rough terrain,And the way i see it,Your prey is most likely going to be,Sandshrew,Donphan,or Tranpinch,Uh....not the best of prey out there,i Can assure you that Sandshrew will be a pain to catch,Donphan is most likely going to be the hardest of prey to take down,And Tranpich should be extremely easy,As for water,Well it should not be to hard,I myself have traveled to rough terrain like landscapes in my time,And water is somewhat easy to find,but sometimes it might be a bit hard to find,So those are your options,Well it might be a bit hard to get used to eating dead or still dying animals,And water could be a challenge to find in the dry seasons,But overall it should not be to much of a challenge.

Predator and Threats

No no no no no,The way i see it,You and Salamence,Are at the top of the food chain,Apex predators,So unless a salamence is REALLY desperate,You should not be hunted by anything,However there are a few threats you should look out for,There could be some angry Donphans protecting there young,And i have seen how herbivores react when they are protecting young,In real life,Trust me you DO NOT want to be anywhere even remotely close to them,Other than that there are Rhyhorns and Rhydons,And your not even going to try eating them,Trust me it wont end well,Metagross beldum and Metang are one of those Pokemon that work like this,You don't mess with them,They don't mess with you,So..yeah not to many threats,There somewhat passive really,You don't mess with them,They don't mess with you.

Shelter

If you in a pack,Or even by yourself,Your most likely going to be sleeping under a tree most of the time,Or at least in tall grass,You could find a cave...maybe,But there is a good chance that its going to be inhabited,Still...you could drive them out pretty easily,So yeah,Shelter will be tough,But manageable.

1.Now i would like to point out here,That like wolves,You are able to join a pack,As long as you know who is dominate,but...,In a Pokemon episode,There is a hint that once you evolve into a Houndoom,You can challenge the pack leader for dominance,And that's cool,But it really does not serve as useful information,That's why i put this in additional notes.


Could you survive

Could you survive as a Houndour...YES,It seems like its very possible to survive as this Pokemon in the wild,And that is all because of one thing...YOU ARE IN A FREAKING PACK,A platoon of fellow Houndour,and Houndoom members to back you up,Other than that,You have a decent terrain,A odd but manageable selection of prey to choose from,A good chance to find water,And shelter should be easy to find,to add on to this,YOU ARE AN APEX PREDATOR,well next to salamence and...maybe skarmory,This should be very simple,All you have to do is find a pack,And it is smooth sailing from there,They best part is,They wont even consider you expendable,So there is a good chance that you will not be left behind,You can easily survive as this Pokemon,So...that's it

Survival chance: 90%

Probably. They are fast, agile, and can breath fire ! I could catch my prey, avoid predators, and burn anyone who stands in my way to a crisp. That would be so fun...

i think i can survive as a houndour and i will use bite for some people and flamethrower at the same time

i will cook my prey with my flames so i think i could live
