I messaged this to David, but I know how busy he is so am hoping someone else can help with this or knows what happened.

Yesterday my computer asked me if I wanted to install a newer version of Windows 8 called 8.1. I went ahead and installed it thinking it would bring good updates, but now my RGR Plugin doesn't work at all. I've tried re-installing it, repairing it, uninstalling then installing again and nothing works. Please help--thanks!

Also, I looked for a restore point thinking I could just go back to time before I installed 8.1 but the only restore point was just before uninstalling the RGR Plugin

Well, I realize now that this is no help to you, but I also installed the 8.1 update and I have no issues with the RGR Plugin. I just tried to play Pokémon Emerald and it works like a charm. I do not know what else to say. I hope you find a solution!

I refuse to update to 8.1 because every time I do something with a windows pc update that is big it breaks. My xp completely clean and only manufacture settings and programs would only blue screen after auto updating to the xp service pack three.

What browser are you using?
I just updated to 8.1 and Firefox works, but IE does not.
In fact, IE seems to not keep me logged in.
Anytime I change pages, I am logged out...

Thanks for trying to help.  In Internet Explorer (what I always use) it kept saying the RGR plugin was not found even though it was installed and reinstalled on my computer.  I ended up just refreshing my whole computer back to factory settings to just use Windows 8 and everything works fine now.  I won't make the mistake of upgrading to Windows 8.1 again and I just hope others know that the upgrade could mess up your RGR plugin.

I will try to figure why, because I think 8.1 is a vast improvement on 8...I would hate for people to have to choose between updating or using vizzed like you had to.

Maybe if I can get a solution, you can update in the future.

I got your solution so that you don't have to revert back to prior windows updates.


1. Download Google Chrome


2. Use Google Chrome to go to Vizzed site and attempt to play a game


3. Error message "plugin not found" will pop up in front of game window

kramer4077 : Yeah I'm unable to play RGR gamez on internet explorer so I have to use Fire Fox for that..... I guess it's kinda time for David to update his Plug In but it's probably gonna take him some time because he is busy...... but I can play that on my Fire Fox so it's all good there & I'm really glad to see you got that working again!!
