It appears that Sony has bought the Crash Bandicoot franchise from Activision. While it is not 100% proven yet, but there's strong hints on the internet that have ties with the franchise that they have been bought. Here's the Article on the matter.

Weird, for some reason, I always assumed Sony already basically owned the rights to Crash Bandicoot, because Naughty Dog developed it and work closely with Sony.

But now looking back I see that assumption was off base.

I doubt anything major comes out of it honestly, the last good Crash game was on the original playstation in my opinion. But it's interesting to think of the idea of a next gen Crash Bandicoot. How would it even look? Would they keep the same style they always have?

So you are to tell me that Crash Bandicoot is a Playstation franchise again just like back in the PSX?? Well I'll be getting the PS4 when I'm ready probably about next year so I guess that is okay, I do love naughty dog gamez such as that, Jak, and many more, yeah this all works out for me since I am NOT getting the Xbox One because it has all bunch of stuff that I don't care for such as watching football and Xbox Kinect and all this crap, and while PS4 major focuse is on gaming and that's all I care about is gaming so I could get use to Crash only being on Playstation if I want Crash!!

Well, it could go either two ways, the first is that Sony knows what they are doing and bring back a great Crash Bandicoot game (Although to be honest I think the series had its glory, and would take something quite spectacular to make a platformer work without being boring and predictable, like how I found Wrath of Cortex to be), or is could be like when Microsoft brought Rareware, and make Crash Bandicoot an even further mockery than it already is, or even worse, give the audience the misconception that a great Crash Bandicoot game will comeout, but it actually isn't (Like Banjo Kazzoie: Nuts and Bolts, or so I believe). Personally, I want the former.

I would not know if this is a big issue or not, but Crash Bandicoot is a fun game. I just hope that Sony will do a better job at making it than Activision.

I think that Sony will be able to do a better job than Activision because for some reason, Activision is just not doing as well as they were doing before. I think they are just not putting enough effort into their games.
