To add her (Girl A) on Instagram when she didn't even give it to me. 

Asking because earlier today, we were assigned a group project (me, Girl A, and my friend (Girl B)) and we exchanged email addresses to work on the project. I added Girl A to my contacts on my phone so I don't lose her email address for the project. 

I got curious just a few minutes ago and went to Instagram's feature in which you can look for people in your address book and Girl A came up.... 

I think it can be seen both ways, as a bit weird, but at the same time as a ''Why not? She's there!''..... 

I ALREADY have Girl B's from being her friend for a while and from exchanging it in person. 

What do you guys honestly think? 

I need a bit of permission before I tap that blue button next to Girl A's username!

I feel the opposite. I mean your on social media for one reason, and that is to connect with people. Is there is someone you don't want to connect to do something about it. But I'll assume she'll be fine with someone following her, if not she won't let you, simple as that.

If you know her from real life you need to talk to her in person first.  Tell her you want to add her, why you want to add her and see what she says.  No one connects on a personal social level because of the internet.  You extending that courtesy will impress her and she'll be more likely to agree so you can have her added.

I feel like you should add her.. it's not called social media networking for nothing you know^^ I have added many of my old friend to my Facebook Instragram some which I wasn't even close with.. but it is an easy way just to access and speak with them if I ever need to. It's normal! Go with it girl!
