I little poem that I made, as a competition between friends. I didn't really try super hard on it, so don't be too critical. It's about fear. Here goes!

Fear is a bottomless pit.
A void of darkness, horrors,
That seeps into your mind, and never goes away.
It starts to takes over, and there's no stopping it.
They say, "Get over it" and it's "all in your head."
But if you listen to them, you... you just can't listen to them.
Don't fight, don't resist, the voices say.
The fear takes over and seeps deep into your soul.
Blackens your heart and mind, causing you sorrow.
You feel like just giving up.........
But there might be a chance. Alas, something anew.
A tinier, quieter voice in your head, tells you everything will be alright.
It grows a bit bigger, you have a chance to fight.
It's hard, you know, resisting your fears.
But through all those tears, it will get better.
Resist your fears.
Get up and fight.
The darkness starts to turn into light.
You smile, you grin, you start to cheer.
The fear that you had-
It's no longer here.
