Hey guys, You may have seen my thread in the Science forum, but oh well.

I'm pretty much moving and posting it here.

So anyways, How many planets have you seen? It doesn't really have to be from your naked eye. I saw Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, and a very small thing which is Saturn with the use of my telescope. How about you guys?

I have seen Saturn, Mercury, Jupiter, Mars, and two others. I saw them a few years ago. I have a telescope with pieces that allow you to certain plants better, but I can't use it do to all the town lights and my means of transportation is to small to carry it.

Hmm, I think I saw Saturn with a fancy telescope once. I can also see Venus and Mars with the naked eye when I'm out of the city. Other than that, I haven't had the opportunity to see many planets.

Clayton 2 : Pretty interesting that you never saw Earth as well.. xD

So you don't live on Earth and you live in a different planet??

I also hate when the city lights are shining.. But I also saw Jupiter with my naked eye before on a boat in the middle of a river. I could barely see it.

I've seen two, Mars and Venus. Although, If I had decided to take the astronomy class at my school this year, I would have likely seen them all.

Since my father has a pretty nice telescope, I've probably seen all of them from Venus (maybe Mercury) to Uranus or Neptune.

I have never seen a planet before and I don't own a telescope or I would love to look at them. Used to when I was young I would look at the sky trying to find it but all I saw was the moon and stars!

I know I have seen Mars. I can not remember if I have seen Jupiter and it's rings or not when I was little kid or not. I remember one night my aunt had me come out because I was fascinated with the constellations at that age, and she showed me a planet in the telescope. I am pretty sure it was Jupiter, but nor for 100%

I learned about how to see certain planets in school. I have seen all planets you could possibly see with the naked eye which are Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn. You cannot see the others with your naked eye. You have to know when and where to look. A lot of people don't realize that they are easily visible for most of the year. The only time you can't see them is when they're too close to the sun. If you think about it, they are kind of easy to spot because their position changes from night to night. So if you think you've spotted a planet, make note of where it is and check to see if its in the same spot the next night. If it is, its probably not a planet, and its probably just a normal star. That's how I've tried to spot planets without a telescope.

I have only managed to pinpoint Mars without using a computer, everything else I have had to see through a digital image. It is not much fun that way, but they still look really amazing.

I think I have only seen 3, being Mars, Venus and Saturn. I had to stay up until like 3 am just to see Saturn, but it is my favorite planet so I really wanted to.
