After spending 17 or so years as a Packer, he's now officially signed with the Vikings, which is the biggest rival of the Packers.

I really think he just ruined his legacy. I was still a fan of Favre when he left the Packers for the Jets but going to the Vikings is an extreme low and I have lost respect for him. He just destroyed his legacy by doing this, he pretty much lost all his fans and he's probably the most hated player in the NFL among Viking fans so I'm not sure they're going to like him a whole lot either but I do see him being the Vikings only hope of going to the playoffs.

Most of you may not know of the Packer Viking rivalry but it's probably one of the biggest rivalries in the NFL and this is probably the lowest thing an NFL player could do. I have lost all respect for Brett Favre after this.

He's going to have a lot of angry ex-fans and probably a lot of booing in his first Packer Viking game which is in Week 4.

This guy is an idiot. First of all he won't retire which is what he needs to do.
Second he plays with the Pacers for 17 years, and then signs with his arch-rivals , talk about desperate. This guy is going to get hurt during the season, and that will be it hopefully. I just want him to be out of the NFL for good.

Well there's no doubting that he's an awesome Quarterback, even at his current age, but if he's gotta go so low as to sign with his old arch-rival, than it's time to move on.

The first packer viking game will be like Star Wars Episode III (and IV). Aaron Rodgers (& packers) vs Brett Favre (& vikings) which is kinda like Anakin Skywalker Vs Obi Wan. Aaron Rodgers was Brett Favre's back up when Favre was on the Green Bay Packers roster and Aaron learned a lot from Favre, Aaron was sorta his apprentice. Favre eventually leaves and than joins the biggest rival of the Packers 2 years later, makes for an epic story and one that's sorta been told in many ways.
