So in the community that is Furry, people from all across the world take part in this with the millions of varied Fursona's. And  of course with every community born, its own form of culture comes with it! Now having been in the community for a long time, i've jumped to various sites and forums and every once in awhile I will see someone or at least a group use a different language. By that I don't mean the languages we have like English, Japanese, German, ect...but I mean a language that seems to be all their own. I've seen a couple languages for Dragons and very occasionally Wolves and Foxes.

So, for an example, I've seen this:

Keewa = Please
Keesho = Thank You

That would be for the Wolven language. So now for the example of sound effects, these ones are the most common quite a bit but these is mostly for Foxes.

Yip = Typically a happy expression or greeting.
Growf = An unhappy or negative expression to something.

So I guess my initial question is this: do you have your own possible language to go with your Fursona or what race you are? Do you have certain sound effects that express your feelings at all when there's a good time to use them?

On the website iscribble.net they have a shared canvas which lets you draw with people from all around the world.

One thing I like to do which is a great deal of fun is to draw a character, and communicate entirely by facial expressions, pose, and pictographs (using little images in a way similar to charades).
Some ways of thinking are difficult to express in this way, but it's quite interesting being to be able to talk to non-english speakers this way.

As far as different words in different communities go, I have not noticed much of a difference, though there might be some minor ones, it's typically easy to tell at first glance what the word is implying unless it's something largely specific that you'd have to hang around for a long time to get.

I use "Wapow" when I get irritated, and no I did not get that from "What does the fox say" video... I actually don't really like the song at all. Anyway, I use "yaff" for a neutral response, and "growlf" for a unhappy/upset response.

Colethefox :

I'm not one to quickly judge on how another has their language or their ways to express themselves. I honestly don't like that video either because at this point its the Furry Community getting flak for it as well. But those are some very good responses from "Foxish".

Exactly! Its cool that the people who worked on it got a lot of money... But I swear, that song is so overused nowadays.

Quhark : I LOVE IT! That was one of the most awesome things that came from Skyrim was another dragon language. There are a few other dragon languages out there as well. But it goes to show languages can always be made whether a group, an entire community, or one person. I also like the profile pic too.
