Well, I have to give it to Wallmasters or Floormasters. They're not hard to kill, they're just annoying.. Doesn't help that in the original LoZ the Wallmasters don't really even give much warning. You hear a noise and suddenly hands are popping at you from the walls. I admit, they were pretty creepy to me the first time I played the game.

Wall masters and floor masters are awful. If you played Link to the past over world forest dungeon, you would understand. Another annoying monsters in the first Zelda game are the sand things (name escapes me). They are a main reason (aside from the water things) I cannot play that one...

Re-Deads, for me. Even if they DON'T make you jump and cower, they are still annoying because they can paralyze you fairly easy and it isn't always easy to break free. I always dreaded getting the Sun's Song in Ocarina of Time because of the Re-Deads littered around one of the chambers.
