Of course you know this day it is believed to be the final day for humanity but of course it was a lie to just kick you on the nuts so what if the world did end and what if you were the only one left on Earth alone it would be depressing so I am going to tell you
the story of Dr. Steven Bartolo Lopez... Today was the day.. the world would come to an end and Steven had a few more minutes to get in his basement 10,000 deep below sea level and get in his cryogenics capsule to survive and by the way he had no wife, no son, no nothing. Only himself...

steven : Got to get in... *setting his cryogenics capsule to freeze 5,000 years to the future he then gets in* I hope this works..

He then closes the capsule shut and hopes for the best for humanity or better yet a new evolution of dominant species meanwhile a huge asteroid was approaching Earth creating all known natural diasasters to Earth while everyone was in pain the asteroid struck creating a crater to the Earth... and wiping out the entire Earth....
5,000 years later...
Steven's cryogenic capsule is open automatically after 5,000 years

steven : *groans* YESSSSS I DID IT I SURVIVED THE APOCALYPSE WOOOOO IM A GOD well not really but whatever because I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THE NEW DOMINANT SPIECES OF EARTH WOOOOOOOO!

As he runs up the stairs of his basement he looks at what Earth has become after 5,000 years after the apocalypse

steven : WAIT WHAT? WHAT THE HECK? The Earth is beautiful but where is the
people and the cities and stuff where is everything that should be in the future? I feel like I am on the Middle Ages... or... I might be the only one alive and Earth is like a ghost town....

As he wanders around the only thing he could find were mountains, ravines, ditches, animals, etc.
And until finally.. after wandering around on Earth he found a Village and with people but the people looked pretty disappointing to be a evolution for the human race...

??? : Hello and welcome to our village allow me to introduce myself I am the mayor of this town, Shady Woodrow
steven : Hi I am Steven Bartolo Lopez
Shady: Hmmm... you're not from around here are you?
steven : How did you know?
Shady: Your clothes are different
steven : Yeah I came from the year 2013
Shady: Somehow you are telling the truth
steven : How do you know?
Shady: I also happen to be a wizard and priest
steven : So Earth hasn't changed these 5,000 years...
Shady: Earth... We don't call it like that anymore we call it Minecraft...
steven : Minecraft... Huh night already?
Shady: *gasp* Follow me quick
steven : Why what is wrong?
Shady: I forgot to tell you in the year 7000 undead monsters had been appearing ever since
steven : Holy crap really things like zombies?
Shady: Yes...

As Steven follows Shady they both get in a house made of wooden planks and wood

Shady: We will be safe in here...
steven : Hopefully... wait what is that?
Shady: That is a Crafting Table we use it to build stuff
steven : Cool
Shady: Try it
steven : Ok

As he approaches it a hologram pops out and a computer voice starts talking

Computer: The Crafting Table is a workbench that builds tools and many more stuff for you automatically
steven : Make me a sword and armor
Computer: Error... resources needed
steven : Umm... *sees a large chest*
steven : Hey Shady can I borrow some stuff from this chest
Shady: You may use any of that stuff in that chest
steven : Ok thanks
Shady: No problem
steven : Lets see we have only leather, stone, and wood
steven : lets see to make a sword we are going to need sticks... alright make a sword out of this...
Computer: Ok
steven : *looks at the stone sword* Thanks you are awesome you know that
Computer: Why thank you no one has said anything to me like that in 13 years
steven : Now to make armor out of this leather
Computer: Leather Armor coming right up
steven : *puts on leggings, boots, chestplate, and helmet* Thanks now to kill some zombies

As he gets ready he exits Shady's house and starts to see that a zombie is trying to knock down a villager's door

Villager Nicholas: Aaaaah please don't kill me!
Zombie Mac: Braaaaains...
steven : Hey mess with someone your own... umm... size..
Zombie Mac: Braaaaaains...
*SLaaaaaaaaaaaash!*
Zombie Mac: *groans and dies*
steven : Who is next?
Skeleton Gunther: *Shoots bow to Steven* Boom headshot wait a minute he is wearing armor
steven : OW! *looks at Skeleton Gunther*  *Stabs him in the skull making Skeleton Gunther die pretty quickly* THAT REALLY HURT
??? : Hey what is this supposed to mean?!
steven : Who are you?
??? : I shall tell my name but I will inform you never interfere with our evil plans or we will have you killed!
steven : Wait you mean there is more of you losers wandering around my planet!
??? : Yes until we meet again... NOT! *walks away to the horizon*
steven : I don't know who are you but I'm going to find your army and destroy it... And this has been my first day in this new world of tomorrow and I already got shot by a skeleton holding a bow *returns to Shady's house and sleeps on the floor*

Ok...I don't mean to be critical, but you should've had somebody read it over first. There are many grammatical errors, and it seemed like you simply were making it up as you went along. Otherwise, albeit being a tad unoriginal, the story is pretty good. You should do more of a backstory of the main character, like what he did before the apocolypse. For chalter two, you should ask somebody to read it over before you post it. Hope I helped!

Don't you worry Popeye more main charecters are coming.. there will be even main villians... but in the next chapter I think 3 to more new charecters will be introduce
