I myself try to meditate daily(mindfulness meditation), I find it to be a way to take control of and process my mental state, instead of being completely impulsive to it. I've found it to be a good stress reliever after a stressful day. Does anyone else meditate, yoga, or both?

I meditate here and there...like once or twice a month. It's not really the biggest thing for me. 

I sometimes do yoga, but most definitely by my own power. Lol. My health class did some yoga classes once, and it was nice. But yoga's not something I would actually do by my own power. 

Meditation is nice, I do admit, but I live in a rather noisy street, so it's a little bit harder than usual.

I don't do either very often.. I do meditate though when I get very angry or frustrated.. it's one of the things that have helped me over come how bad my anger used to be and how bad I used to have problems with it. Showers also help me so very much just to relax and when I get out it's the best feeling..

Sometimes... every once and a while at my Church they will have a Yoga class in the morning and my parents make me go to it. I mean, it isn't really all that bad except I am not very flexible. I do not meditate nor do yoga, but I have my own way of relaxing myself mental-wise. In times of struggles in the real world, or just for fun, I 'zone out' and take off to my own imaginary world with its own fictional protagonists, plots, subplots, settings, villains etc. It sounds odd, but it works.

I meditated in health class once. It didn't really do anything for me. I usually do not meditate or do yoga because I don't find it calming. Sitting still for so long drives me crazy.

I don't meditate but I run regularly and I achieve nirvana when I run.  It is a chance to let my mind wander and I enjoy the rhythm of my body and how it feels to slowly build the ache and the soreness.  Running is freeing is distance running is moreso then sprints or short runs.

Man I felt good today. Because so many people were out of town, my family decided not to go to church. I spent that time doing yoga and meditations, and it made me feel so refreshed and rested.

To be honest, I really don't meditate or do yoga. I have never really tried it before and to be honest, I'm pretty unsure on how to even meditate or do yoga. I feel like a pretty big noob saying this but I can't lie about it.

I am kinda forced to do yoga. As we have a yoga class every week. Also, it counts as part of your phys. ed mark for whatever reason so if i don't do it i will get a low phys.ed mark.

Also, if you stand up the teacher will try to kick your legs from underneath you.

I have a workout program called Tapout XT, where each day is spent doing different types of exercise and focusing on different body areas.  One of the DVDs is a yoga program.  I was very shocked when I did that DVD and found out that yoga wasn't all TV and movies crack it up to be.  I actually sweat quite a bit during that day's exercises! lol
