Theres a few upcoming game releases im excited about, so I thought id post them and see who's looking forward to them as well (or not looking forward to them).



RAGE (360-2xdvddiscs, PS3-1xblueray and PC-2xdvddiscs)

Rage is set in the Earth's future after an asteroid attack. ID have actually based this upon an asteroid field scientists beleive could be heading in our general direction. Before they hit earth, the government froze engineers, researchers, milliatary personel and scientists so that once the damage is done, they will be unfrozen and will rebuild society.

What the government didnt expect was the attack didnt kill everyone on the surface. The survivors formed their own societies. Now that your unfrozen and realise your the lone survivor of the frozen "ark" project, you go on a search to find out what happened to the other "Ark" members.

This game is going to be much like a cross between Far Cry 2, deathrace (if it were a game) and Doom 3. Theres a mixture of FPS gameplay and 3rd person car combat. It's an open world game just like Far Cry 2, with the choice of side missions as you follow the main story line. You have an unlimited inventory, you can build and customise your own weapons and you have the choice of goign in stealth-like or guns blazing.

Unfortunately it wont be out this year.



Wolfenstein (360, PS3 and PC)

Still set in WW2 time, the supernatural is fixing to take over the war and you have to stop them. This doesnt look as good as RTCW but I think it will be a fun run and gun shooter.

Realease date is only a few days away.



Metroid Prime Trilogy (WII)

The trilogy includes Metroid Prime, Metroid Prime 2:Echoes and Metroid Prime 3: Coruption. I just might have to buy a WII for this one, rumor has it the trillogy will be fairly priced too.

Release date is a week from now.



Champions Online (PC)

Produced by the creators of City of Heroes, Chapions online is a MMO designed to give players a giant level of customisation over their characters in a full 3d universe. For an MMO, this game appears to have stand out graphics. I know Neyro is looking forward to this one

Batman: Arkham Asylum (360, PS3 and PC)

When escorting the joker to the Arkham Asylum, the inmates have set a trap and kidnapped Com. Gordon. Now batman has to rescue him. What really gets me excited about this game is it's dark story line, its set in a looney bin and you face your old foes which you originally put in the asylum.

Release date in about 10 days.



So yeah, I think weve got a decent handfull of quality games coming out soon, whats your thoughts?

I bought Arkham Asylum, and so far it's everything I had hoped for. Thew graphics are great, and the fighting is awesome. It has tons of action, and is a top notch game.
