No, no, no, no, no.  Don't be flashy.  Don't be swag.  Don't do all those things you think she'll like.  You're trying too hard and she'll see that.  She probably has other guys doing the same and everyone is bending over backwards to impress her.

The best thing you can do... and I mean BEST THING YOU CAN DO is to downplay everything.  Don't make it a big production.  Don't go to all kinds of lengths to do anything elaborate or crazy or impressive.  If she's coming over, have an activity or two available so you can talk while you do it.  A card game is simple and encourages verbal interaction.  The goal is to talk to each other and to listen and learn about her.  The goal is not to impress her.  Girls are interested in guys' personalities, not all the things they do.  What will set you apart from other boys is your ability to not try hard to impress her.

Whatever you do together, you have to be able to talk.  Don't watch a movie, don't sit in silence.  Go for a walk, play a game, read out loud to each other from a book you like.  Show her something that you enjoy and invite her to do it.

Be very casual and just someone nice to be around. HONESTLY, if will work out much better for you. Girls like guys who have some confidence, and try very hard to get her attention shows you don't have any. Real confidence is know that just being yourself and having a good time is enough. You will stand out.

If you know some of here interests, have a couple of things available to do. Does she like going to the mall? Does she like playing wii u? Does she like physical activity? Is she artsy? If you are not sure, have a couple of possibilities open. Simple and honest is what you want to be. Remember, be cool and collected, don't freak out.
