If you couldn't tell from the title, I hate my xbox 360. It is the single-most rage evoking inanimate object in my life.

After my first Xbox died from the RROD, my second xbox survived through the entirety of my warranty, but once it expired, it decided to die slowly, First my disk drive, then the power source, after I got a new power source, I got the RROD(which I temporarily remedied with a thermal paste fix 3 times), this is an object that I've spent almost 2 thousand dollars on in games, hard drives, and downloadable content, now I have to buy a new god-forsaken xbox )

Has anyone else's xbox given them violent thoughts?

And this is why you get a PS3 instead. I have an Xbox and a PS3 and the PS3 is far better.
Anyway, back on topic. I have never had the RROD and the only issues I have had with the Xbox have been internet issues.

I haven't owned an Xbox 360, but I've used one before. I definitely prefer the PS3, everytime I hear about xbox 360's is because of them breaking.

sloanstar1000 : I've purchased 3 different white 360's, all have died, but only spent about 80-100 on each one. Last year, I bought a used 250g black/slim console. The thing is a beast. I have played for maybe 14-16 hours on it =EDIT= straight on 1 day=End= (on't judge me, blops2 zombies easter egg{only good thing about this trash game}) and it didn't even stutter or lag or anything. But those stupid white arcade/pro consoles are TRASH.

Edit:  x D just realized I meant to say 14-16 hours straight in one day, not overall. I've probably spent 30-50 hours a week playing my 360 so maybe that will clarify how many hours I've actually used this snazzy machine for.

I don't hate the Xbox 360 . It is not a bad console . I have played games on it before and I can't complain . The only downside is that wireless controllers have toy batteries or be charged I think . Sometime the batteries die and others the charger is no where to b found

Mr. Zed : Yeah I forgot about the controllers, the battery packs over time will cost a good bit unless you get a charger for it. But the xbox controllers themselves wear down down pretty fast. I bought a cheap gamestop xbox controller and it's held out pretty good. I prefer the wired controllers anyway, they're cheaper, and you don't have to worry about battery life.

That is Mainly the main reason why I don't like the Xbox 360 (or any Xbox for that manner), it's because they're really faulty (not as faulty as the Atari Jaguar but still), and to my opinion, I don't really like faulty consoles. That's why I've been more of a Sony and Nintendo person because the PlayStation and the Nintendo consoles are a little more functional that any of the Microsoft consoles.

I don't entirely hate it, but If I were to rage at the system: It would be because of the controller, and The cheap friggin design. The thing is: We had a 360 when it was new, it cost around 400$, The sucker ended up breaking like a year later, It just ended up refusing to read disk, and yes the disk worked fine( It wasn't scratched or too badly scratched.) Even The small Nintendo Wii ended up running disk longer, and the design was more solid. 


And I also Hate the Xbox 1 as well: Because it runs like stupid Windows 8. I mean who would want an operating system as a console?! There's gaming computers for crying out loud.
