Are there any songs that you know that may remind you of past events in your life, like (really specific lol) a baeball game when you were 10? Obviously, things don't have to be so specific. Maybe there are songs that remind you of snowy days, or a walk on the beach?

Me personally, I really am bad at recalling memories. Not that I don't have any lol, but I am not good at pulling knowledge out of my head unless it's something I really have stuck into my noodle of a brain.

For some reason, I want to say
Viva la Vida; I feel it has something to do with the change throughout the years of my childhood until now, and how i have been living my life.

How about you?

there were songs that made me sad by remembering things but how they could have changed the way of the past and future.

Oh yes. Lots. A really wide range of events too. Like, the song "This Kiss" by Faith Hill makes me think of when I had a Hit Clip of it. I always picture myself listening to it in the basement. And then the song "Gravity" from Wolf's Rain makes me think of when my dog died 'cause I was listening to it a lot then..

Whenever I listen to Midnight Blue by Lou Gramm, I have recollections of a four year-old me dancing in the living room in a better place with my sister and my dad. I miss those times. They were better.

Listening to Linkin Park brings back memories since I've been listening to their songs for years. It brings back happy memories of listening to music while playing games with the family. Oh,  how times have changed =P

When I listen to Photograph by Nickelback, I think about parts of my past and how they're gone and how I can't ever return to them. It makes me sad.

I can think of a few. The first one Bits and to Pieces by the Dave Clark Five. That song talks about how a girl loves the guy. But at the last second she dumps him for somebody else. I have had that happen to me before

The Second one, What have I done to deserve this. It is another oldies tune and it reminds me of a time in my life when everything was going bad. I kept asking myself why me. What did I do wrong.

The Third one is  Hard Habit to break Chicago. It talks about a guy who just lost a relationship. He tries to move on but keeps getting flashbacks.

The fourth: I will be alright without you Journey. See the third choice above

My last song. Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes. The love I lost. Talks about a lost love that ended in a misunderstanding

Yes I do. Most of my songs come from past events.

Mgmt kids- talked to a girl every day after school at 8th grade

Bone thugs n harmony Change the World - first song I heard as a kid

Mgmt Time to Pretend - after graduating and never seeing the girl again.

Wu-tang clan A better tomorrow - near graduation. Thinking that after graduation everything will be better.

Just a few examples from the playlist I have

Do I get nostalgic from them? Rarely. They're just songs and I like them.

There's a Party House I know about that's miles outside of town

A den of vice and sickness of infamy and renown

A million dollar mansion with graffiti on the walls

Servants bearing frothing pitchers skateboard up & down the halls

Sellout major label bands that beg to play this place

There equipment all gets stolen and the crowd spits in there face

There's an endless loop of snuff films on the big screen in the den

The bouncer at the door's armed with a tazor and a sten

Its a cross between a roman orgy, times square sex show punk-rock party

A manic beer soaked punk fest in a castle on a hill and it starts on Friday night

And then it lasts the weekend long

Theres mistress Lisa's dungeon for anyone who wands a flogging

The bars got top-shelf liquor and forget about the bill

Cause its two dollars at he door if you bring your own beer-bong

GG Allin's freeze-dried body's in a glass case in the lobby

Theres porno stars performing on the 2nd stage upstairs

And Traci lords filmiest in the auditorium

Watch the fireworks on LSD all the booze and drugs ore free

The neighbors all live miles away and so nobody cares

About the sickness of the beer-bong vomitorium

Toilet slaves in all the jons beg to eat your feces

Chef tell is in the kitchen cooking up endangered species

Mandatory beer-bongs every hour on the hour

Speed heaped up on the mirrors like five pound bags of flour

People getting bare assed and f***in on the lawn

All the junkies get free fixes and they do on the Jon

Some drunkard in the backyard got a lawn dart in the eye

Its really not a party there until somebody dies

Sobriety is such a bore

Drink and puke and drink some more

At the beer-bong vomitorium

At the beer-bong vomitouium

Beers on tap in all the sinks

Drink to live and live to drink

At the beer-bong vomitorium

At the beer-bong vomitorium

So yes.

The song "Clown" by Emeli Sande reminds me of the time my nan died because when she was in hospital, the cubicle next to hers had a radio and that song came on. Every time I hear it, I think of her.
