It seems that Nintendo is going the direction of, 'release about 10 Mario games in 2014'.  A new Mario Kart game was announced for the Wii U.  This game looks very interesting to me.  It's about the same as Mario Kart 7, but with an Anti-Gravity mechanic.  Now, players can drive up and across walls, drive upside down, and who knows what else.  The hanglider and the underwater...thingy has returned as well.  What are your guy's thoughts on this?

Dang it! Not another one of these awesome games that I can't get!

I personally don't like the return of bikes. If they are exactly the same as the cars, then that's fine, but in Mario Kart Wii, the bikes were always better than the cars. Which threw off the balance of everything.

But actually, one of the best new things I see is the falling time. Instead of taking up 20 seconds to put you back up like most of them, it will go quickly, like Super Circuit and Super Mario Kart. This is a huge improvement, and I don't know why it took this long for them to put it in.

Also, the tracks look really good. The one that goes through Mushroom Kingdom's version of San Fransisco looks really cool, and that candy one that was shown in the trailer looks good as well. I kind of hope they make the gliding a little better though. It didn't really do all that much in 7. Maybe some parts where some turning is actually involved would be nice.

LunarDarkness2 : Just wondering, why are you making so much threads about games that have been announced nearly a year ago. Also you are making a lot of them really quickly in between each of them.

 Actually, most of these were announced at E3 of this year, except for Kirby 3DS, which was announced at the beginning of this month.  And, I post them to spread the word about upcoming games for people who don't know about them just in case.

LunarDarkness2 : Link between worlds was announced in I think between January and march.

I just thought you were making these because you just discovered them. But hopefully your threads will make more people want a Wii U.

We need Wii U to sell.

 I've actually been thinking of selling my Wii to get the money for a Wii U.  Because, I can tell in 2014, there will be a massive outbreak of Wii U games.

LunarDarkness2 : The two games I'm hoping for most are definitely super Mario 3d world and smash. 4 for both Wii U and 3ds.
I was going to get one for christmas but my mom broke her foot a couple months ago and she finally got her cast off.

There certainly seem to be a lot of new features in this game. I wonder how the coins might effect what place you come in. Driving up walls and on ceilings looks like it might get confusing. It might just be the way things are in the trailer, but all of the tracks look really big.

This looks interesting. I'll definitely be getting it! Hopefully the gliding feature will be good this time. In 7 it was only used in straight lines, and there were little to no obstacles.

patar4097 : The bikes are fixed here. They are like normal karts, and can do a full mini turbo. And they only do wheelies when on a boost space, or with a mushroom, stuff like that.
