I already made a thread like this in the polls and questions thread about favorite utensil to use. But oh well. I will reply anyway.

It really depends on what I am writing for, if it is notes, I write in pencil, if it is like a test I also use pencil to erase mistakes. The only time I may use pen is when writing a final paper or essay, or maybe for sketching, nothing else since it would require being scribbled out. mechanical pencil is the best choice for me, it has replaceable led, doesn't need to be sharpened, it always has a fine point, and it feels more comfortable to use.

PacmanandMariofan : No harm done. I guess I should have replied to this thread. I use lead pencils for most of my writing even though the lead breaks super easily most of the time which is really annoying.

My favorite tool to write with is a Keyboard. But a Pen otherwise. I've seen so many people who write with Pencil's and I'm guessing that its because you can erase. But I like pens because its so much smoother than a pencil. And I don't like seeing the eraser marks left behind from the pencil. 

But a keyboard is god. Not only can you erase things you say, but you can also do it with no marks leftover (unless you have a key logger). Plus you can also get creative with it as well.
