I do not know too much about the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, but I have a pretty good idea about who Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Nights, Dr. Eggman, Rouge, and Amy are. I don't know really, if there was an option for shadow, I would pick him since his character is awesome and I have a similar personality of being serious and quiet. But of the choices I would say either tails or sonic are my favorite and here is why: 

Tails is really over hated in my opinion, he is creative, smart and he makes a lot of useful inventions and he has enough brains for the 3 of the choices on this poll XD

And I think it is obvious why I picked sonic, he is  very upbeat, energetic and cool, I like his personality.

Hmmm this is a toughie. I like knuckles cause he is serious about what he does and no nonsense. He also has power as he is able to do a lot of damage when he hits enemies. I also like Tails. Character wise, I am only a fan of Knuckles.  To me he is the only character who truly has displayed character development; getting tricked by Robotnic to turn on his comrades, always shown to be distanced from those who call him friend, dedicating his life to protect the chaos and master emeralds.  Truly a character of burden, something I can respect.
