Great goddess of the moon
Let me see you soon
In the silky blackness of the sky
Hear me sigh
As I pray
For him to stay 
At my side 
As he abides
By the sacred law of the moon
His voice makes me swoon
Please guide me
And help him see
That he belongs in my arms
And away from harm
This is my plea
Beautiful Selene, goddess of the moon

This deserves praise, this is amazing. It was short, but it was to the point and also very beautiful. You have a lot of the poetic elements in a poem, you even included some rhyme in there which is an awesome bonus! 

I must say, you did a great job with this, I could never write anything like this because I am going to be honest, I suck when it comes to writing poems. I am just not very good at it.

So you have my congrats for this, this is just amazing, you have a talent for writing poems, and I think you should continue to do so. Keep up the awesome work, and this is a masterpiece!
