Hello! And welcome to my 4th Pokemon Review. This time, I would be making a review about a really strange pokemon. This pokemon is really known for his transforming ability, some use him as a breeding slave because you can use him/her to breed with most of the pokemons. Do you know him already? Yes you do! Its none other than, the "Transform Pokemon" Ditto!! You're probably wondering why I picked Ditto as my next pokemon to review, I actually am using a Random Pokemon Generator to know what pokemon I am going to review next. And Ditto was the lucky pokemon chosen by the Generator. So Ditto it is. Should we start the review?

Starting Off With His Appearance:
Ditto looks more like a chewed gum or something like that. I also think that Ditto looks like anything you want, he can transform right? This kind of art is what I like about pokemon, just simple, and no other useless additional details. The old pokemons like Ditto has better art than the new generations of pokemons like from those new generations. Pokemon's arts and graphic designs should be as simple as possible and not too over drawn. Anyways, lets go back to Ditto. Ditto is very simple, it has a face with eyes and mouth, and has a pink body, also has an umm.. I guess Ditto has nothing else, that's it for his appearance. Lets now move on to his Evolution.

Evolution:
Some say that Ditto can evolve to Mew. But this is really not true. Ditto doesn't have any more evolution stages other than himself. So ditto is a basic pokemon that doesn't evolve. There  you have it for his evolution, time for his moves.

Moves learned by Level Up:
Transform- The only attack that he can learn. But its okay, he will be able to use almost every move there is after he copies other pokemon's appearance and move set. Anyway, this Transform move is a move that is capable on copying other pokemon's form and attacks, but not it's statistics. So the original pokemon would likely be the winner if it has higher stats than Ditto.

By TM's And HM's:
Sadly, Ditto can't learn any more other moves than transform so you should just stick to it.

Ditto's Stats coming right up.

His HP, Attack, Sp. Attack, Defense, Sp. Defense, and Speed are just the same and equal. All of them are below average, and you really don't want these stats. So if you're planning on using a Ditto for the rest of your journey, Good Luck with it. Anyway, the best way to increase its stats is increasing it's Hp more than his other stats because Hp is the most important Stat for ditto for him to be able to copy it's foe before being completely destroyed.

Pros And Cons in using a Ditto:
Pros:
- You can use your enemy's attacks.
- You can change your appearance to any pokemon you want, just battle them first.
- In Gen III, Ditto can't be affected by paralysis.
- Can be bred with most of the Pokemons
Nothing else, I think that's it.
Cons:
- Low stats
- No other moves than Transform

Overall: 3/10
I really hate this pokemon. I gave it a 3 because of the following reasons:
1.) Breeding Slave
2.) Simple Art
3.) Because its Pink

This is my shortest review made yet. This is because Ditto is really boring.

Look at him!

I would have given it a higher rating. Ditto is the most useful Pokémon outside of battle and it can even be somewhat effective in battle, but only if it's an Imposter Ditto. Also, everyone who cares about IVs & EVs has a flawless Ditto for breeding purposes, including myself. Just because it's not great in battle doesn't mean it's a bad Pokémon.

What do you mean Ditto doesn't copy statistics? I thought it copied everything except the opposing Pokémon's HP. It kinda angers me when I go walking through the grass, wanting to level up my weak Pokémon, and then a Ditto jumps out (by the way, this is in B/W version). Then I switch to my level 100 Aerodactyl as Ditto transforms itself into said Aerodactyl and wrecks my team. The only thing I never knew is if it's stats go down when transforming into a Pokémon with noticeably lower stats than the Ditto. Oh well, time for Bulbapedia
