Since the beginning of mankind, us humans have been eating others of the animal kingdom. Back then we were, in theory, programmed to eat certain foods but since we have evolved into animals that have more open personalities. For instance we now have vegetarians and vegans who both avoid eating flesh. From being a veggie myself and from others I have found vegetarians think that killing an animal for food is cruel and a disrespectful way to send of a dead animal. You can see where they are coming from since you would not (at least I hope not) eat a human after it dies, would you? 
Now I have come to leave the society of being a vegetarian and eat meat. I chose to make this move since that it was almost in our nature to eat animals and flesh. I still regularly have vegetarian dinners though since my family our all vegetarian except me, mean I have to cook my own chicken and of meat.

So in this thread I want you to tell me your thoughts on eating meat. Feel free to counter others opinion, though stay respectful. Also it would be interesting if you told everyone about your meat eating experiences, for instance exotic animals you have eaten ect.

Well animals eat other animals, so why can't humans eat other animals? Most of the meat we eat is from animals that we raised and that is the only reason they exist.

Weirdest animal I have eaten? Frog legs. They taste just like chicken only more dry.

It doesn't sound wrong at some points. I mean if you think about it's kind of like a cycle were going through when eating meat. I guess there's no reason to be a bit disgusted about eating meat sometimes.

Please don't make me think of this.
I love to have my Baconcheeseburgers, I will say that. But i don't want to think about where it comes from or how those animals were treated.

I can understand and respect that some people don't want to eat animals for what ever reasons that have. I see nothing wrong with eating an animal. If you kill the animal and don't eat it, that's disrespectful to the animal. Animals eat each other, its part of life. A shark wouldn't care if it ate you, I am not saying eat everything in sight just saying its life. Eating something you kill yourself is a great feeling, you can give thanks to the animal for providing you with food and know where your food came from and what it has been eating.
