You'll pick 'Preseason' and choose 'Man' vs 'Man'. Keep all the settings set to default, which includes 5 minute Quarters. The home player is the one who creates the session, they'll be player 1 and they get to pick their team first.

bobq : I'm going to keep the rule of the Video Recording a requirement, it wouldn't be fair for me to remove that requirement this far into the tournament and I don't want to have to recalculate all of the past weeks that didn't have a video submitted.

It's a very simple requirement. It's not that common for both users in a matchup to not have the ability to record and when that does happen, it's not hard to find someone else to do it. There's been too many issues in the past about users lying about various things, by making the videos a requirement, it helps eliminate the problems that arise from users lying and cheating.

Understood, as I was in the last techmo tournament. This system can also easily be taken advantage of though due to lying and excuses. Also, I found this in the rules:

"Recording your games isn't required but it is encouraged. However, for playoff games, every game needs to be recorded or spectated, either by one of the teams playing or a spectator (yes you are allowed to have spectators watch your game but be warned that they could cause lag to your game). The plugin supports video recording so you're free to record your session either using the plugin or an external program and than upload your video to vizzed YouTube account or your own but it will be required during playoffs."


^This says it is not required. I understand that playoff games need to be recorded, but regular season games? This rule has already cost people wins, and there are a whole lot of ties also, even though people have played the matches.

Perhaps requiring a witness to each session could be a requirement, just in case recording issues occur.

You dont have to change what has happened, but perhaps the rules could be refined to accommodate this issue for the rest of the tournament?

If 2 users are going to get someone to spectate as a witness, that witness might as well just record.

cdbnd26 : Well today and Thursday are not good for me. How about Friday at 6 PM server time?

Lynchcats : No problem. I understand. When exactly are you available on Saturday? If I can do it then, then maybe we can do it Friday evening instead because I'm busy all day Sunday.
