yea i am i play drums not so goo d yet but im gettin better basically i need to learn how to roll and ive learned the basics

Wow, this thread got a lot of replies since the last time I was here.
Well, as for my current band status- It's been over for a while now. My friend (who got married and such) is pretty much busy all the time but I'm glad for her and we're on good terms. As for my other friend, we never got to start a side project. He got back into his old band and they have been doing so well that a local talent scout/agent gave them some info to start recording their stuff. I'm REALLY proud of how far he's going because he worked hard for it.
As for me, I have been trying to start a band on my own but it has been proven to be VERY difficult. I plan to start out as a cover band first and then create and perform our material later. Problem is, it's hard to find someone looking to be in a band that isn't miles away from me. And I've been having some serious songwriting blocks lately as well. I'm open to anybody who would want to join me but the problem is the fact that I live in Florida.

I can play the electric guitar pretty well. I've pretty much mastered the intro of Stairway To Heaven on it, and I'm kind of OK on the flute and on the piano, mainly because we were forced to learn those in school.

I am a guitarist. I usually play classic rock and some alternative rock. I have been playing guitar for about 5 years. I plan to start playing the bass guitar soon.

I was in a band...I'd rather not talk about it though. I used to play the saxophone but I had to stop because I was really young and small at the time and I couldn't reach all of the keys. Then I got the clarinet. I didn't like that. In retrospect, I wish that I chose the trumpet instead. I regret giving up on music (and anything in general). When I get a paying job, I want to get a trumpet and take some lessons.

joining this thread a bit late here but yeah im a musician and yeh i hate it when our band never usedf to get anything done, the band disbanded though because we all wanted different sounds and then 6 form got in the way :/  hows ur band doing now?

Yes I am I actually play the saxophone and I can sing. Though it is not like singing for a choir cause I have more of a different voice.

Well, I play trumpet, so I guess I am a musician. I joined band last year, and continue on doing that.

I've been playing guitar since the age of 5 - so about a decade and a half of music training under my belt that even now seems to grow every day. I'll take breaks here and there every once in a while, and I keep find myself coming back to explore new styles of music, new methods of playing, etc.

I'm in a band. The drummer doesn't live near us though...kinda sucks

I am part of my churches worship band, Im the guitarist (still learning the basics), and Im also used to play violin before switching to cello and am part of my schools orchestra.

Update-

We (my band) are slowly but surely getting back together. It's too much to explain exactly what's happened since I posted this a while back, but I will explain eventually. We're going to attempt to try something different that i don't want to put on here just yet.

And that's cool that there are a lot of musicians here. You'd get some of my references around the site if you are one. lol.

I played the saxophone, and I'm the best in my school's band. I want to join a jazz band if there is one in high school.

Also, I play the recorder. Yea, it is a useless instrument. I can play the piano horribly and the guitar way worse, so I stick with saxophone.

I play the Baritone, Trumpet, Piano(somewhat), Drums(trap set). That's about it

People say my voice is pretty good to go fast, and I typically rhyme, I can rap pretty well.

I'm trained with a trumpet, snare drums, ocarina, recorder, and glocken-spiel.

I'm also kinda skilled with turntables.

Nope, I'm not any type of musician, don't play an instrument, and I can't sing or anything like that. I would get guitar lessons if I can get the chance, but I don't see that happening.
