Just another one of my poems~
It's rather short though >.<

Fire, fire
Isn't it strange?
I never would have thought you had such a desire
Fire, fire
Isn't it tragic?
You're singing with the angels choir
Fire, fire
Isn't it alarming?
Your mere presence could set heaven afire
Fire, fire
Am I not pathetic?
For you I'm still climbing this barbed wire

I just love poetry. Sometimes, more words ruin the feel, and I think yours is just fine.

I think what really clenches it are the last two lines.... well done!  It kind of reminds me of one of my poems about midnight fires... I'd post it here, but I think I might have already posted it elsewhere in this forum.

When did you write this and what was going through your head at the time?  Was it inspired, or just because you wanted to write something?

I think that poetry of any kind, when written right, is truly amazing. I think that you did a great job writing this poem, I wonder what your inspiration for writing this poem must've been. This is really good. I like how it is short, sweet and it gets to the point without unnecessary babbling. Nice job on this poem.

I posted this on another forum as well and me and one of my friends there decided that if I write more on this one we could make it into a song! ^w^
When I'm done with it, I'll probably post it too

I was listening to a song called Fire, fire and the title somehow inspired me to write it. I didn't really think much when I wrote it, I just let the words that popped up in my head flow on to the paper!
