Trying to find a few rpg games from either super nintendo or the 64 kind of like chrono trigger or final fantasy but cant figure out which are good and which are just complete crap. would like it if some of you guys could offer opinions of which are in there area and if their any good to even bother with considering i hate trying to find them and yes i know im being lazy but its better to ask then just sit here being bored.

Have you tried Breath of Fire on the SNES?  It was made by squaresoft, and was quite good.  Also, eartbound, super mario rpg, secret of mana.  But if you like Final Fantasy and Chrono Trigger, I'd recommend breath of fire.

nope have not tried that yet but my brother talks about that game non stop. will most likely start playing that game after i beat chrono trigger still have the lavos fight to do and heard that was a pain in general.

I would suggest Super Mario RPG: Legend of the 7 Stars, and Earthbound. Both for the Super Nintendo. Mario RPG is made by Square so if you like Final Fantasy you can try something else they made.

Dragon quest 6 is a pretty good game just about the same battle structure as chrono trigger and illusion of gaia is also a pretty good game as well
