Hey guys. I just got minecraft version 1.6.2 and I want to install mods like pixelmon and stuff like that. I downloaded two different minecraft forges and I can't get either one of them to work!!! I'm getting so mad that I'm about to chuck my laptop at the wall!!!! Can somebody please help me with this problem before my laptop gets destroyed?

generalspleen: Ok, do you happen to have Java downloaded because if you do, you need to open it up as java and you should click on ."Install Client" Once you do that, in order to install mods, you need to download nether Winrar or 7-zip (I use Winrar). Once you got Winrar, go to your run search in the start menu and type in %appdata% in the bar and click roaming and then .minecraft. once you do that, you'll see some folders and files, make sure you got a mods folder and a core mods folder (create them if they both ain't created) and once you do.

Were you see "Minecraft.jar", open that up with Winrar and delete the "META_INF" file. once you do that, you should go to versions and you should see a folder that said "1.6.2" copy and paste that folder and rename that folder to anything you want (ex. 1.6.2-mods, or 1.6.2-Forge), once you do that, for both files inside that new folder, They got to be the same name as the folder, once that's done, you need to open up the JSON file in that folder with a notepad and where you see "1.6.2" typed down you need to type the same name in there on what you name the other files.

Once you do all of that, you should now be good to drag those MC mod Winrar files you downloaded to the Mods folder, and you should be good to go.

Brigand : You pretty much got to keep on right clicking on the horse every time you get knocked off, just keep on getting on until it stops knocking you off, then by that time, the horse should be tamed.
